Re: Final List Structure for 2013
What annoys me is that the AFL did not let Tippet in the ND. This meant GWS kept their draft pick AND get Tippet.
If they allowed Tippet in the ND, and GWS took him there, would Corr have slid all the way to us??? It is VERY possible
Is this another arbitrary AFL decision taken to boost GWS?

Dont see why either of those 2 deserve a spot on the main list ahead of Curren. I would have thought it would be position specific meaning it will be a mature age FB. Sounds like Joel Tippett to me and out of those 3 that is certainly who i would pick. Cockie is a good VFL player at best IMO.
you bagged me for suggesting we look at Tippett now he's good enough to make our list? he must have played some good footy in the last few weeks.

Can you show me a post where I bagged you about Tippett. Saying that makes 50 players is not bagging a player. Its saying to you you have suggested a lot and wont make a clear decision. I have. I dont want Cockie. I probably dont want Tippett either but now Nick is gone Id rather a mature FB than an average mid. Seems I will be wrong though as the papers say we will take Cockie. I just dont get the point of that though.

Agree. Taking cockie is bad list management. Try a mature FB if it does not work out then nothing lost

Staley is the forgotten man.
Surely one of Staley or Ferg can become a key defender.

Plugger you have even out done yourself with that comment!
It has been said that Staley & Shenton both went to the US, so it would appear that Staley is remaining on as rookie. Obviously they have hopes of him becoming a solid KP player, which for list balanace hopefully they give him time playing down back next season. Fergusson just needs size and you know full well Plugger that he will be our Fisher replacement - he will get there!
The question remains whether the Saints will use the extra selection to grab a full back or take Adam Cockie. I wonder if Mr Cockie went to Boulder with the rest of the squad? That would answer our questions....

Re: Final List Structure for 2013
I would think that they have a few scenarios in mind. Cockie isn't over the line just yet just because a journo thinks it. I would think Joel Tippet might not get to us but would probably be the preferred option. If that doesn't eventuate then maybe a choice kid from the missed list in the draft then Cockie. Who know exactly but I think we might be more into a mature FB than we are letting on.
