Forum Footy Oct 21st @ glenferrie oval

It looks like your the organiser dude. What do we need to bring? Im in and can prob grab at least one more.

All you need to bring is yourself. Some runners/boots and a saints top of some kind. Preferably guernsey.
If you have extras bring them, as they always come in handy

sad to see that you giuys are unaware of your proud history in forum footy games...

you guys started it off back in the days when hawkheadquarters was still a forum open to the public...

for many years, you guys played us dees for the Big Carl (Ditterich) trophy...

(I am starting to feel pretty old putting this post up here)...

we dees are 14-1 in these games, our only defeat being inflicted by saintsational back in 2006 (I tiink) when you loaned us all 3 Spinner brothers and they nearly won the game for us)...

On October 21 at 10am at glenferrie oval, you will confront (if you dare to come) bomberblitz (who have humungeous numbers and who can loan you as many players as you need), the nick's collingwood site (who you can beat with only your female members playing) and demonland (undefeated since 2006)...

you guys need to confirm or back down asap...

Ok, so I took Matrix's advice and came clean with the wife regarding my desire to pull on the Saints jumper. Copped a "less than pleased" look but no real damage done. That would come if I did have the misfortune to get injured. Accordingly I will be playing an "outside" role on the day.

Bottom line - I'm in.

Putting aside serious injury my concern is the "seizing up" time between games.

You just don't know how to break their spirit quickly. I started to disappoint my wife so soon after we were married she's almost given up on her suggesting improvements. I told my wife about playing and apart from the normal eye roll everything was good. Hope we get some of the forum folk there it will be funny to try to work out who's who.

i'm keen very keen but i have not played afl since i was 15 and only played round ball till 22! i can kick and mark and run but not sure how usefull i will be, not to sure i can run and kick!

but the other organisers understood that you guys were texting us saying you could not make it...

so the venue has been organised to cater for 3 teams only...

rocking up and playing has always been the go in past years...

but we (dons, pies, dees) did it differently this time...

and we are sharing the venue with another event, so time is tight...

don't want to blame this on your organiser...

please let it be called a communication breakdown and hope we can invole you guys next time...

we usually manage a game in february, and hope to be able to have saintsational there...

That's a real bummer.
I've just found the old footy boots and was starting the motivational music getting ready for the game.
