How was the Wilkes tackle excessive force? He just tackled the guy fairly.
Re: Match Thread & Scores - St Kilda v Western Bulldogs
disapointing first quarter. The ruck is a huge problem and needs to work over summer. Macca is being served his arse on the platter, needs to at lest break even in there. Midfielders only started to work in tha last 5 mins. Might have been the wake up call they needed. Half forwards not working hard enough and we are missing sippa. Look because of their lack of forwards we should win but they need to lift orit will be a grind.

Gram has stood up in some stuff people would accuse him of usually dogging. Seriously the tv commentators want Wilkes tackle taken to the tribunal. WTF are they idiots you cant tackle at all now if some accidentally hurts them selves. They should make them wear those netball outfits if he goes for that.
Re: Match Thread & Scores - St Kilda v Western Bulldogs
Mac gets no momentum up even if he does occasionally get his hands to it. He needs to run hard into the contest with a full head of steam otherwise they will get easy takeaways every time. We have done well from the opportunities we've had to actually be leading at this stage.

Exactly. Perfect tackle. How I want all our players to tackle. Foxtel is trying to get him rubbed out.sainterinsydney wrote:How was the Wilkes tackle excessive force? He just tackled the guy fairly.

Cannot believe the bitching and moaning about the Wilkes tackle. Turned him on his side and took him to the groud. I didn't know there could be 'excessive force' for a legal tackle in a men's contact sport
Re: Match Thread & Scores - St Kilda v Western Bulldogs
bit of a joke, was actually unlucky as he had started to turn him and cross actually caused the forward push. Any chance holding the ball could be called? Two times dosg players took on the tackle and dropped the ball. Fustrating.

agree with the bomb from gram, he placed forward of Roo by about 5mt too farStillwaiting wrote:we seem to do it a fair bit, what was dissapointing with grams is that he had a free and kicked a long bomb to a spot where there were no saints, but yes he wouldn't be the only onesunsaint wrote:make that two for goddardStillwaiting wrote:A long bomb by gram straight to the opposition
but then you get NDS put the ball wide to the boundary of an open Milne, how had to attempt the impossible shot against the point post...(he very almost made it too)
this is the difference of top four sides and us

Kosi had his arm chicken winged in a tackle and no hysteria, but his make up and nails won't damaged so no big deal.

That was a fair tackle, the dogs player fell foward, surely Wilkes won't have a problem, the commentators are pathetic

I know you ladies are all getting emotional, but how about giving us a score as well?

if you believe the boundary rider, they can't work out to sub off Minson or Cross.

Gia kicks a goal from a free for being physically weak in the contest.

Another inneffective tackle by the squibber...but his stats will show he is laying them
Doggies get it forward and our defenders under pressure give away an easy goal
