Actually P66, I think it would be more important for GC and GWS to play teams like Collingwood, Carlton etc at home more than their local derbies.
They need people to show up, they also need games that are winnable in order to make them popular.
It will be interesting to see what GC does during trade week this year, reckon they will looking to off load some of teir youngsters in exchange for some more experienced players.
But getting back to the schedule, if the AFL, as they do, insist that certain teams must play each other twice every year, then the schedule is compromised and loaded in favour of a certain number of clubs.
