I would think $69 would be minimum from Cool to Metricon. Probably would be around $30 from Surfers. I'm taking into mind getting caught in traffic and not just miles.

As far as I know parking is free at Royal Pines for those going to the function.

I can't help with bars at Metricon as I have only been there once and that was our game last year. CUB tents across the Rd in front of Emerald Lakes Golf Club were pretty popular last year.

I think the CUB tents aren't there this year. There's plenty of bars around the ground.

Re the transport, if people are too far from the bus areas, maybe they could cab to the nearest train station and go free from there to Nerang.

I hear it's a pain catching cabs after the game - might be easier to get one home from the train station?
