All of our on-ballers could have done a better job last week, lack of intensity for half a game wont get us into another GF

Yep. Slow, one paced players can get found out on a big ground. I doubt he will ever play a blinder in Perth or Adelaide. But at Docklands, it is another matter. He's not alone there though in our team.Junction Oval wrote:Time for him to turn things around this week on the smaller ground. To win this week, everyone needs to lift.
With Lenny's 250th, the saints crowd will be right behind them

Haven't he received SS votes in a few games..... So he's elevated beyond a few others...

Re: Armitage still can't manage consistency !
Last year he did string consecutive games for the first time in all his years with us when Lenny went down....in any case, having a lot of time under a coach who is sh1t at developing young players doesn't mean sh1t for what he can deliver going forward. He's a hard working inside mid who loves to kick goals. Deserves his spot and he's going to be picked by Scotty Watters so get used to it.Spinner wrote:Just doesn't seem to be able to elevate to the next level...
Had a lot of time now.

Last week he had 10 touches against WCE and no influence on the game whatsoever. If he wants to maintain his position in the team/midfield he is going to have to bridge the gap between his best & worst performances. Perhaps it was the larger ground in Perth as covering enough ground has always been his weakness.
Was he playing on Beau Waters?

Re: Armitage still can't manage consistency !
i think we should trade every player under 25 who hasn't won a brownlow yet, and sack every player over 25 because they are too old and get draft picks 197, 205, 255 and onwards to replace them with.

What about players over 25 who haven't won brownlows....
Has anyone won a brownlow in our team?

That's now indisputedly two outta' three top games. And I'd argue last week was good too, making it three outta' three.
Well done again Dave Sorry I contemplated doubting you. Now I'm just waiting for the scenario to offer up another apology, yep another '1'...
(And also, congratualtions on the co-founding of Townsville... )

He's just a good footballer. It's that simple.
Lock in another 3 brownlow votes I reckon. I love the way he goes about it..... Like Lenny and Bally he is f***ing Tough.
Although apparently dogged it a few weeks ago....

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.
