Reserves did well to hang on into time on then missed the rub of the green and had 2 gos scored against, Sandy 49

Looks like Walsh might have an arm/shoulder injury. Down to 3 on the bench & Walsh hasnt been seen since halfway thru the 1st quarter.

They've lifted, won the second quarter and Gardiner, blake and McQualter winning a tonne of the ball.

port might have enough now, up by 2 goals. Sandy have been very good, port is a very good VFL side.

Simpkin awesome, lynch very good, mini in everything. Winmar uses it well but does not have the body yet. Need a big pre-season.

Gards looks ready.

made a couple of mistakes (doesn't everyone) but Gardiner looked a cut above everyone else in the game, from either side. Just clean marking and kicking.

Baker kept James Rose goalless... and he's among the leading vfl goalkickers...

Blake made goood decisions...

Eddy tried hard.... but that's it.

Harsh marking that for Baker & Blake.
