SPOT-ON Enrico! My beef with the club membership department is based on ten years of membership with things going wrong/glitches for almost all of those ten years. I would gladly do without all the "showbag" element of the membership if I could have a stress free renewal each season. It can't be THAT hard surely to God?! (for an organisation that is supposedly becoming a "powerhouse of the AFL )

It all seems pretty random.

Ideally I would like to have had the memberships before Xmas to give them out as presents (they cost enough).
But despite paying in early December I am still waiting, that's three months, and it's only three weeks till Round 1.
Don't worry with oversize keyrings, and money boxes and CD holders.
Just give me my piece of plastic.
It can't be that hard!!!!!!!

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

agreed. the club has always been shithouse in this area and they don't seem to be improving. i thought we were supposed to be moving to new standards of professionalism but i guess not.Enrico_Misso wrote:Don't worry with oversize keyrings, and money boxes and CD holders.

My card came in the mail today (harry-loo-jar! ) No sign of any DVD. I'm SO over this mob in marketing/membership. Its the usual crew;the usual promises; the usual lack of expertise, usual lack of interest in the paying member. I'm just grateful that the coaching staff and players have a wee bit more professionalism than this bunch of no marks

Can someone explain how Row HH in the southern stand at the MCG is comparable to Row E at Etihad?
As far as I'm concerned a comparable seat would have been in the Olympic stand.

I buy TWO reserved seats at the dome on THE WING, received my TWO memberships today and I was allocated ONE seat for the MCG, same MCG seat number on both memberships, near the forward pocket!
Rang, received apology for this mistake, then offered two seats in the FORWARD POCKET, as these were the only TWO seats together remaining, apparently!
None available near the WING!
I renewed the same day I received the mail out!
Whilst I understand it might not be easy to provide like for like etc...
how hard is it to allocate different seat numbers to two separate memberships?
The club would have trouble organising a chook raffle!

There aren't many seats on the wing at the MCG on the lower levels that aren't taken up by the MCC or AFL Members, most of the General Public seats (Those that the club can sell) are in the pockets and behind the goalsbarks4eva wrote:I buy TWO reserved seats at the dome on THE WING, received my TWO memberships today and I was allocated ONE seat for the MCG, same MCG seat number on both memberships, near the forward pocket!

I currently sit Row A at Etihad, and i received Row JJ at MCG, I went from front row to back row!!
For what it is worth I'm more annoyed at being in the crappy facilities of the southern stand than how many rows back i am.saintvic wrote:Ice Wolf wrote:Just got my card in the mail.

Still haven't received mine. Mind you, I was a little bit of a Johnny B Lately in renewing on the opening night of our NAB Cup campaign.
I don't have a reserved seat, however, I might be upgrading in getting one providing some friends of mine finally make up their minds in getting them as well
Has anyone upgraded their membership to reserved seating? if so, did you have to wait any prolonged period for the upgrade process?
