Strange how bigmart is nearly always on the ball and now we have another poster prepared to reply with one hand under the table alah p66...BringBackMadDog wrote:You should change your Nick to Kmart because your posts are the second rate sh*t that you would find thereBigMart wrote:Correct - Why hasn't anyone defended Raph yet....we must agree he was disgusting....he was WOG by a long way... he made ridiculous errors...
Correct - Milne would be second in those stakes....13 possesions - 8 clangers
Correct - Sam Fisher and Lenny Hayes 10 clangers
Correct - Andrew McQualter 3 kicks...two tackles...not enough for a defensive fwd
Correct - Justin Koschitke....well
Correct - Michael Gardiner....7 possesions
Correct - Zac Dawson who was on Ebert leading up to HT for 5 mins whilst he took 3 marks on the lead...Zac stood the mark in all of them...prompting the commentators to say a move needs to bemade...
My opinion - Zac Dawson has not played well since R18 2009....and should thank Jason Blake for saving his arse most of the time
Correct - Gwilt 18 possesions as a lead up presenting fwd....4 tackles
Correct - Schnieder 24 and 3 goals...top game
Correct - Montagna 36 and Dal 18 and 4 tackles 4 clearances OK
Correct - Eddy used it well for his 18
Correct - Peak 18 and not many errors
Correct - Goddard...some very creative use
Correct - Blake and Baker solid as always
Correct - Gilbert...24 and 10 marks (2 contetsed) as an attacking HB..he did turn 4 over, but does take high risks with the footy..and had one mis-kick...Gilbert not only wins contested ball but gives drive...he is heading towards elite defender IMO
i hope it felt good
Why is he nearly always on the ball. He said to his own post he was correct. Not many if any others aparty from you have said he is correct. Anyway how can you be correct when it is only an opinion of players. Obviously Bigmart lacks a bit of confidence in his posts if he has to say his own post is correct.BallBanger wrote:Strange how bigmart is nearly always on the ball and now we have another poster prepared to reply with one hand under the table alah p66...BringBackMadDog wrote:You should change your Nick to Kmart because your posts are the second rate sh*t that you would find thereBigMart wrote:Correct - Why hasn't anyone defended Raph yet....we must agree he was disgusting....he was WOG by a long way... he made ridiculous errors...

Oh he's so on the ball, we lose 1 game by 10 points and he basically hangs the entire side. Its over-reactionary drivel thats what it isBallBanger wrote:Strange how bigmart is nearly always on the ball and now we have another poster prepared to reply with one hand under the table alah p66...BringBackMadDog wrote:You should change your Nick to Kmart because your posts are the second rate sh*t that you would find thereBigMart wrote:Correct - Why hasn't anyone defended Raph yet....we must agree he was disgusting....he was WOG by a long way... he made ridiculous errors...

I actually thought P66 reply was pretty funny.....
For the record I usually enjoy BigMart's opinions. I'm a bit disappointed though. After any loss there will be players that play poorly. Cats lost 5 games last year. It's going to happen. Lot's of players put in shockers.
Just wondering if we've all been a bit spoilt the last 12 months and some of us are acting like the little kid who's not used to losing. When it finally happens we don't take it well. Surely we all realise that with Roo going down there was going to be some major readjustments required. We have won 4 out of 5 games. Let's just relax a bit.

I wrote a post
and the I backed it up with some stats to prove my point...simple
Knobs like P66 took it offensively...and played the man and not the ball..he just doesn't like the fact i critisise sometimes...and am occasionally right..not always...p66 is nothing more than a smartarse who has such a high opininion of himself he tries to humiliate posters rather than debate issues with them....
Did anyone acknowledge that I found as many positives as negatives...and praised a couple of my whipping boys...Gwilt/Eddy
BTW - I believe many of the players I bagged have continuing issues....and only one eyed supporters cannot see why they are roundly critisised
Milne - out of the dome
Zac - takes the eye off the ball and gets out bodied
Kosi - too slow off the mark and turning
Raph - does not play with enough intensity.
Mini - has not enough hurt factor
Gardiner - cumbersome
and these are not on off issues
statistically backed up

You are WRONG... WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.He made as many errors as possesions....he missed a target 9 meters away which was not marking distance anyway....he fumbled more than I have seen an AFL player before....worse game of his career...and thats saying something...
Taken from another thread, strangely enough titled: "Lets not let facts get in the way"..
You are wrong.Raph clarke 13 disposals, 1 free against and 2 clangers
compare that to
lenny hayes 23 disposals, 4 free's against and 7 clangers (nearly 50% mistakes)
stephen milne 13 disposals, 3 free's against and 8 clangers
the two rucks had 13 disposals between them!
And just another scapegoating Raph hater.
And you're just another scapegoating Lenny Hayes hater who probably shouts "RAPIST!" at Milney from over the fence.bigred wrote:You are WRONG... Are you saying BR he made two mistakes....watch the tape and see who is Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong..
The target he missed picked the ball up on the half-volley and was tackled...not counted as a clanger...
He picked up 4 disposals just prior to HT when we were chipping around the back line..
He fumbled a ridiculous amount and put his team mates under the pump.....he is like a deer in headlights, more concerned about not stuffing up, than succeeding...
he is like a fielder in cricket who is praying the ball does not come his way....and guess what happens??
Raph hater...no
Not happy with his output on the field....yes

it's a confidence thing. personally i wouldn't play him as a defender. release him to the wing or half forward or an on ball roll where he can use his creativity.BigMart wrote:he is like a deer in headlights, more concerned about not stuffing up, than succeeding ... he is like a fielder in cricket who is praying the ball does not come his way ... and guess what happens?
i do think he has ability, but is worried that any mistake in the backline might be his last for the club.

Big fan of Raph.
If anyone is going to pick out a game by Raph and say he's useless, or not up to it, or makes too many mistakes etc, I'd suggest the Port match is not the one to do it. Wait til the majority of the team plays well and Raph doesn't before making that observation.
In regards to Raph on a wing or up forward I've held this view for a long time. It seems the only time we play him up there is out of desperation to get something happening (eg the Prelim) and he has, on those few ocassions, shown a bit. I'd like to see him played up there more regularly and given a chance to display his skills and creativity.
However Ross is the Boss and I'm happy to let him make the moves

Yes you. I call you a moron.
You have no idea who I am, what I stand for and obviously my history following this club.
You are a buffoon and a halfwit.
Another internet hero.
Haha I love it how Milne is open slather on this site yet when Raph is criticised up jumps this sanctimonious twat and the rest of the guardians in his defence.bigred wrote:You are a moron.Beej wrote:

Stephen Milne is more deserving of a spot in the side than Raph Clarke - of that there is no doubt.

I quit because of stupid people getting personal....
You have an obsession with trying to undermine ANYTHING I say....thats cool - your life ... your opinion is just that
BTW - Bag half the side
Raph, Milne, Zac, Kosi, Mini, Gardiner - thats 6 players....since when does that constitute half a side....seriously...they deserved critisism given the sh*t they coughed up on sat....and you the 'loyal fan' came to their rescue in a pitiful attempt to defend their honour...ffs they are big boys, what I said would not compare to their coach behind closed doors....
BR - no comeback yet
