There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

um....whilst im happy to get Lovett I think giving up a 1st rd pick for a inconsistant 27yo is way over the odds, i would've also liked to have at least swapped our 2nd rd picks or something!
You should get an absolute star or a potential 10 year player with your 1st pick.
What we get for Ball is going to be interesting..

Interesting snippet from mark Robinson, especially the last paragraph.
Saints did their Due diligence apparently.

Has played footy on a forward flank before, and a back flank also.suss wrote:It's a silly question but I haven't seen much of the bombres over the past couple of years but: he play forward or is he soley a mid-fielder?
I like the idea of a fast player in the forward line that can apply defensive pressure. Could he occasionally fill this role?
Generally bobs up for a goal or two.

Anyone who thinks we're paying over the odds, especially after this year, has no idea. Who cares if we give up the possibility of a gun kid for 4-5 years down the track when our window is slammed shut? Who cares how old Lovett is? We aren't bloody Melbourne, we don't need young kids we need experienced match winners!
We have precious little time whilst this group is in it's prime to grab a premiership. Lovett adds exactly what we need: pace, x-factor, goals from the midfield. Only disappointing aspect for me (apart from the fact that he is a woman bashing dog) is I had hoped we could use pick 16 to get a bigger fish like Fev or Burgoyne, but realistically this is as good a deal as we were gonna get and could tip us over the line for a flag!

very happy with this. i remember the first time we played essendon this year...he was a worry and from memory it was a bit of a breakout game for him.
he was in my supercoach team this year so i watched him quite closely. and i am stoked he is now in the red black and white.
more video evidence. check the first 20 seconds of this from when we lost to them this year....he will probably benefit from the stacks of extra shooting practice ross is going to make the whole team do this off season!

And he won one. I want a flag at any cost, i dont care if we finish last the next year as long as we get a flag soonbergholt wrote:Good player, but he's way too old to be signing.
This is an admission that we're going all out for the flag in the next two years and not considering the future. Paul Roos style, I guess.
I dont want to be there abouts for 10 years straight with no success. Flag is it or nothing!
