:D Cheers Vince. Wasn't left wondering for long!

They will not grow old, as those from more northern States grow old.
For them it will always be three-quarter-time, with the scores level
and the wind advantage in the final term.

The areas in white are available to those who missed out in the MCC members ballot.
http://www.mcc.org.au/News/Latest%20New ... 02009.ashx

The remaining level 2 & 3 balcony seats will be taken in a flash.

MCC Members Note: You will not able to gain access to Level 4 when the gates open.
They will make you queue again at the bottom of the aisle stairs giving access to this area. (multiple queues, 1 for each aisle)
Eventually they will hand out reserved seat tickets and let you up.

This means
1. you can't save a seat for a mate - a rude practice banned in the MCC anyhow.
2. you can't pick and choose your seat, you choose an aisle and queue for that, but your seat is guaranteed to be at the back half (what Demetriou calls standard but is really sub standard).

Sorry I don't know the procedure for the balconies and level 1
does someone else know.

From MCC Websiete
Carpark Gate 7 only (Hilton on the Park)- opens at 4 AM
Carpark Gate 3 only (Brunton Ave) - opens at 5 AM

WALK-UP SEATING (for those unsuccessful in the ballot)

After you occupy a seat on arrival on either levels 1, 2 or 3, an attendant will issue you with a reserved seat ticket for that particular seat for your retention for the day.

Attendants will start issuing individual reserved seat tickets within approximately 30 minutes of the gates opening or soon after your arrival. Once you occupy a seat, please remain there until you receive a ticket from the attendant.

Seat tickets on Level 4 will be distributed from the stairwells in each of the bays on the Level 4 concourse.

Seat saving for latecomers is not permitted and seats will only be issued when cardholders are present. Under no circumstance will tickets be issued to cardholders not in attendance.
