IMO it's a 'no contest'...experience is crucial in winning big finals.

There is always exceptions, and the Hawks are one when strictly speaking. That said it is rare that the most experienced clubs (a combination of total games, and finals game, but more so finals experience) win the big finals.

You just more or less backed up the theory, that experience is very important... I don't think I've said the most experienced club always wins...I pretty sure I said usually wins, and have said clubs not club.

When picking winners in finals more often than not the combined finals experience of the actual sides picked win...I don't think I've ever said it's an exact science.

I'm not the guy who has said that expereince is over rated based on last years result.

i havent backed up your statement at all. I said the top 4 before the finals usually has the most finals experience but also and this is the main point, they are the best teams and usually the best teams get into or win the GF. Name a side that wasnt one of the best teams that have won a flag recently.
