I think the speculation has a ring of credibility, Plugger.

A mate who umpired his son in under age cricket once told me that he had to tell his son that no matter the batsman was on the back foot, hit shin high in front of middle and comprehensively LBW, the batsman would not be given because the bowler was his son.

So his advice to his son was "get your wicket by either sending the stumps flying or having the batsman caught".

The son understood.

Henwood is interesting. A "bruiser" of a player who played with Glenelg before being recruited by Sydney and having a short career with that club.
