He wouldn't be the first player to get a kick up the arse & realise an AFL career is not to be taken for granted. Plenty of players have made the most of a 2nd chance & made their original club look a bit silly for casting them off.
The kid is obviously talented so I'd be surprised if he isn't at least given a rookie spot.
Essendon apparently offered him a 1 year deal & he wanted two. So they did value him to an extent...

was suspended in the preseason for not turning up to a training session, the bombers believe he has a discipline problem. Also struggled with shoulder problems over two years. Had big wraps when drafted but I'm not sure his skills and run is enough to take a dip with him...

That's why we said no to David Rodan....Hurricane wrote:With all due respect I cant see why we would be intrested in a player plauged with injury and attitude problems AND deemed not good enough to hold a place on the list of a bottom 4 club.
I was expecting a mediocre thread about a delisted player but the handbags between ralphy and homework have made this thread a must read.
Seriously guys the posts are funny as hell

"This bloke" has the words "BANG BANG" at the end of his his posts as a tribute to pro wrestler Mick Foley (a.k.a Cactus Jack) who ended his interviews with his fingers pointed like guns shouting "BANG BANG"jimmy_slats wrote:why the hell dose this bloke always finish his posts wit bang bang is it a terets thing or maybe just something he has to do due to ocd...?? the mind boggles

Is it not possible that a player may be worth recruiting just because they got de-listed and didn't fit at their original club?plugger66 wrote:A champion in the making. Must pick him up.
Or do you automatically brand them for life because of it?
Obviously he has been delisted because of an attitude culture Knights is aiming to instill. Isn't it plausible that a person can change their attitude and develop into an important player? The bloke is only 20.
You seem to not even 'consider' players discarded from other clubs.....

Rodan is such a one-off example here...he is over-rated for coming back from the bloody kneeArmoooo wrote:That's why we said no to David Rodan....Hurricane wrote:With all due respect I cant see why we would be intrested in a player plauged with injury and attitude problems AND deemed not good enough to hold a place on the list of a bottom 4 club.

yes he is playing better footy after it however its just one player who has actually become better after being delisted and doing a knee
"It's a work in progress," Lyon said.
That is correct.Spinner wrote:Is it not possible that a player may be worth recruiting just because they got de-listed and didn't fit at their original club?plugger66 wrote:A champion in the making. Must pick him up.
