Over react to a loss. More like a SERIES of losses and ordinary performances .Maybe not over react ,but to act

Just a bunch of well payed players who are trying so hard to get the team out of the hole they are in they have lost there instincts and the love of the game.

Rebuilding is not the issue for me (at the moment) - I want to watch a game of footy where I'm proud of our team and coming home knowing we gave it a crack, and under the circumstances we could not have done better, with a "well done guys - we'll get em next time".

I don't come away feeling anything like that these days - I feel very flat and powerless. Watching other mid range teams having a crack is inspirational.

Ever since RL has been in charge I can't remember really enjoying a game like I used to.
Excellent post Peanut, you've absolutely nailed it. Zero passion and instinct. They look like guys who have to go a job where they're implementing someone else's ''structures'' without any real belief in it. They don't look hard at it because they aren't. They're too busy thinking about the ''structure'' and not busy enough loving their football. Also watched the Roos play Geelong on Friday night and they're the complete opposite. Like they're determined to wring every ounce of talent and ability the have out of themselves. Bloody hell, it's just so disappointing.

I dont think we have a bunch of players "Trying so hard" at all. We have SOME carrying to many atm IMHO.

Fundamental difference.

I think some of the players are professional in how they go about things, i.e. Ball, Hayes, Harvey etc. even Armo, Birss, Jones, Geary can be put into that group and others clearly aren't a lot of the former youngsters under GT i.e. our core who sold be coming into their prime. I'm not sure why this is, it seems mental and i think a lot of those players need to be told to grow the hell up, your professional footballers, mummy isn't here to hold your hand.
