They were included in our primary list coz of TPP's!
If they were veteran listed, we coul have 40 players + 2 veterans!!!
The main list must be 38 players. Clubs may also have 2 eligible veterans in addition to the 38 players on the main list(ie 38 players + 2 veterans). Max and Banger were listed as Veterans last year(so only half their contracts were included in TPP). Because of our salary cap pressure, we included our veterans inside the main list. We could not afford any additional players however because of having only 38 players, we were able to have 6 rookies.

13.1 (a) An AFL Club may nominate for each AFL Season up to two eligible Players
to be transferred from its Primary List to the Veterans List and/or any
number of eligible Players to be classified as a veteran on its Primary List,
provided the transfer or classification occurs no later than two weeks after
the Pre-Season Draft prior to the relevant AFL Season.

I may be mistaken but I thought they were already listed as veterans last year.
Can some-one classify this and give a reference please?
Also I understood we were down on numbers last year due to salary cap restrictions. With so many retiring and delisted maybe we have more room in the salary cap.
Maybe some-one can find out how many we can select in the drafts????
