Good competitor, hard nosed but I don't think he has it for athleticism and running capacity to be an AFL ruck.
Play him at full forward, I'm sure he would make a better account of it than King!

King is "trying", I am sure Heath can try just as well.

Heath at Full Forward - King as a high CHF

Have you noticed how often Lyon brings up the LDU initials?
Ever since the pre-season friendly against North- often in interviews ever since Lyon when talking of midfielders LDU is thrown up as a top player etc.
Even tony74 early in the year mentioned something & the Saints re LDU.
We can only just hope - get in his ear Hunter!!

We can only hope Loris!
He’s got burst speed from stoppage that our current midfield lacks and can win his own ball
Right age profile too
IF we can snag him and another gun kid or 2 in draft…lookout

B.M wrote: Wed 15 May 2024 10:20pm Rowan is an eite ruckman

He was in the AA squad last season, has been runner Up in the B&F both seasons he played solely in the ruck. Just last week he had 28 and 11 tackles as a ruckman!!

You want him ‘released’ into a position he is very average at - he is a BOG average forward.

While Ned Moyle is a lumbering 5ppg VFL forward.

If they do that - it’ll be it for me!!!

It means we can’t be any dumber and I’ll have less than zero confidence in people running the show
Was monstered by Gawn. Marshall does not win the ruck contest, and his center clearances (Bombs) are never to our advantage. He could do the same as a CHF roaming around the ground. He is the CHF we are in desperate need of.

I don't think McLuggage is anything special. He seems very similar to Dow. Is a McLuggage a Scottish suitcase?

Monstered by Gawn

Hmm 🤔 that doesn’t happen much against the 208cm freak who is a 7 time All Australian

Marshall has a relatively good record on Gawn although beaten last week

Marshall is an average forward - elite ruckman

Given St Kilda are sitting 15th and going backwards therefore unable to recruit any player with talent it is time for BM to appear in person, call a Creditors Meeting and wind up the St Kilda FC - which would, of course put that impediment to player development, Lyon, out of a job

The proceeds from the sale of Wilkie, Sinclair, the ruckman Marshall, plus the scraps the Club would get for the regressing Owens, Windhager, Wanganeen-Milera and the skinny Wilson MAY just clear the debt the Club has

St Kilda could then reform at Amateur League status in Grade 6 (or whatever the lowest Grade is)

All problems solved

Nothing wrong with Grade 6 Amateurs, salt of the Earth.
Foundation of Laura's huge salary package.
Sometimes tricky when it's school holidays but, Uni teams often forfeited and often only after you turned up and there was not enough warm bodies.
And circle work was hilarious.

Well Santa, perhaps go over what you contribute.

Because, from my reading of your eternal criticisms and the eternal criticisms of others on this Site, what I put is the only solution to putting you and your fellow travelers out of your collective misery.

So I will take that as read!

Apparently we're a destination club for footballers who want 'balance'...And time off

They're also going to get a nice long break in September.

I suspect the main focii of interest right now are the very promising prospects in the Sandringham VFL team, already contracted. We have them in the tent, they clearly have a lot of talent, need to manage their development and retention.

Great song

Shame that it was written with dark meaning because the lyrics are so cool and sounds so positive
