To be fair I struggle sometimes too. It helps that one plays forward and one back.Trev from the Bush wrote: ↑Sun 21 May 2023 5:59pm Hopeless Fox commentary can't tell the difference between Stocker and Phillipou!

Missed the start of the game but turned on in time to see us miss a few sitters.

To be fair, a bloke with tattoos on both upper legs who is a natural right footer looks nothing like a cleanskin kid who is a natural left footer. Too be fair, they were the same jumpers, but that's all. An experienced commentator like Dipstick Dwayne should know this.Otiman wrote: ↑Sun 21 May 2023 6:05pmTo be fair I struggle sometimes too. Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 10 2023
So we dominate the last half of the qtr, squander three sodas to give us the lead and we now have a 4 point deficit to show for it. Very modern St Kilda.

Owens miss from dead in front was poor.
But his efforts have been superb apart from that

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 10 2023
What sort of cohesion or planning goes into our forward entries?
Wood, Marshall, Owens and King all went up for the mark when Pou was kicking inside 50.
It looked like school boy footy with a pack of 10 players going up for the mark
What's worse is the smalls were probably leading in the pockets instead of being at the fall of the ball

Yeah was going to say. Do we hold the record for most consecutive first quarter last minute goals conceded?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 10 2023
GWS have learnt from the Crows last week. They are trying to neutralise our defence by taking a lot of risks coming out of defence, and so far most of their daring handpasses and chip kicks are coming off. But I don't think they're as skilful as the Crows, so we should be able to beat them by capitalising on turnovers. However, missing two gettable set shots from inside the forward 50 didn't help our cause.

He copped a heavy high hit and got the free from that, so he was probably a bit shaken by the head knockBanger9798 wrote: ↑Sun 21 May 2023 6:12pm Owens miss from dead in front was poor.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 10 2023
As usual, we don't put scoreboard pressure on when we get on top.
We were well on top in last 10 minutes and missed very gettable goals.
