It’s funny how St Kilda supporters will boo this kid (for what reason?) then turn around and say clubs like Collingwood and Essendon have sh*t feral supporters.

I didn't notice the booing. Then again, I was watching on TV without the sound on.

I did notice the thuggish actions of a number of PA players which went unpenalised. I can only assume it's done under instructions.

One might speculate that the reason for the booing is that there is an expectation for a first round draft pick not to bail at the first opportunity, let alone conspire to bail from day one.

And so supporters at other clubs collectively use their voice to emphasise this as a cultural no no. Supporters from all clubs sending that message to all first rounders, i.e. Philipou, bail out on us and this is how you will be perceived and what you can expect to cop if you do.
