It will NOT be the ruck contest that wins this game - nor the clearances
It will be the scores from Turnovers
If we can make best use of their attacking mindset and get them on the rebound we will win - if not they will overrun us.
You have to take advantage of the ruck situation
It’s not just centre clearance (though these going forward would be nice)
Marshall can then rest forward that stretches Moore and co and brings our small/medium sized into the game
Eg Caminiti all of a sudden gets a lesser defender…
Lions did it well
100%- anyone who has played wet weather footy with a dominant ruck advantage surely understands the benefit. Likewise the benefit of having a tall target up forward.
Yes run is also important but we'll still have them covered there. I'm more worried about their big bodied mids/flankers and think they can be partially nullified by having a big bodied Campbell style ruck winning the taps and throwing his weight around.
Disclaimer: posts are my views and shouldn't be taken as fact, even if I am in fact right.
The ones to worry about:
Sidebottom
Pendlebury (not so much)
Jamie Elliott
De Goey (bit of a downhill skier)
Tom Mitchell
Daicos x2 (could really expose us in the corridor)
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Windhager to N Daicos
IF he keeps him to 20 touches we in good spot
Rest is team defence
Pies will flick it around
MUST hurt them on turnover with pressure
Lions did
My ghost bumps are telling me that Phillipou will get his Rising Star nomination this week.
Inspired by Michito, playing in SA with a confidence that suggests he'd like to announce himself in our biggest game to date against the biggest club in the land.
In terms of the game, we must simply be prepared to run harder, both ways, than Collingwood - that is their strength.
Agree with Teflon, Windy to Naicos, Byrnes to Jaicos and Paton to Elliott with help from Stocker.
P.S.: Stocker has been an inspired pick up. He wants to play for the jumper and his team mates. Plays like a Ross Lyon.

I am not sure Paton is strong enough for Elliott (who is short but plays tallish and is strong)
For mine at least Stocker is the one and maybe even Wilkie
I think Paton goes to Hill
The Pies player to watch is McCreery (very strong and easily their fastest player)
