Re: AFL General Discussion
What an arsehole.
"Clarkson said O’Meara and Wingard should be fine to return against West Coast next week after missing with general soreness, but he said Burgoyne was unlikely to return from his ankle injury.
“[With] Wingard and O’Meara, if it had been a really big game I’m sure they would have played,” he said."

Re: AFL General Discussion
I see that former Melbourne/Carlton player and former Roos and Swans coach who allegedly suffers from dementia, still has a soft spot for the Dees, or is it simply bandwagon jumping. The silly old fool was singing the Dees song after the siren.
Hes the prick responsible for luring Plugger to sin city after the game where Plugger flattened a swans player and beat the swans almost single handed.
Although Mr Football bagged Plugger out in the press for a week after the game he secretly coveted him from that day on. And later made no secret of his plan to advance the swans popularity by enticing, with AFL help, Plugger to sin city.
Barrassi once asked me if in the interests of growing football in NSW would I begrudge the swans beating the saints when they next met. You can guess what my answer was. As I said, silly old fool.

Maggots are.paying holding the ball/incorrect disposal tonight.
Wonder what they will do tomorrow night.
Pay those frees to the doggies but not the saints?
Would not surprise me one bit.

Re: AFL General Discussion
Sid Jackson is on 360.
A champion.player and a chamion.bloke.
I met him many years ago in Canberra when I was working for the Commonwealth.
He told me a story about playing the filth one year.
As they were coming off the ground, Tony Shaw confronted him and told him he was yellow.
Sid replied that Shaw was colour blind.
Shaw then punched him in the face and was duly reported.
Sid is a great Bloke. Shaw is a pretty ordinary human being.

Syd left Carlton in 1976 aged 32. Tony shaw was 16 at the time and 18 when he started playing for Collingwood, 2 years later. It's a great story though.saynta wrote: ↑Wed 26 May 2021 9:03pm Sid Jackson is on 360.

May have gotten the Shaw brothers mixed up. Must have been his older brother Ray. Still a true story though.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 10:44amSyd left Carlton in 1976 aged 32. Ray certainly has form, getting decked by Muir for spitting at him in 1980.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 11:28amMay have gotten the Shaw brothers mixed up. Must have been his older brother Ray. Re: AFL General Discussion
Not sure about the next generation but Ray and Tony were both involved in racist instances. Tony has even been quoted as saying that anything goes on a footy field. Typical filth attitude.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 11:48amRay certainly has form, getting decked by Muir for spitting at him in 1980.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 11:28amMay have gotten the Shaw brothers mixed up. Sid was still playing at the time from memory so it must have been about 50 years ago he told me the story so I can be forgiven, maybe, for getting the two missed up.

I never doubted that you met Syd Jackson or that he related a story to you, just for the record.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 11:53amNot sure about the next generation but Ray and Tony were both involved in racist instances. I'd have believed the behaviour came from either of those two, it was just the timeline that caught my attention. I was sure I saw all of Shaw's playing days.
I dont recall ever seeing Jackson play.
I began attending the VFL regularly in 75, as a 5 year old.

Re: AFL General Discussion
It must have just happened. I was watching on TV as the players were coming off the ground and Shaw out of the blue snotted Sid. I asked him what had happened. He then told me. Impressive guy Sid. Still is .Shaws were mongrels, all of them.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 1:07pmI never doubted that you met Syd Jackson or that he related a story to you, just for the record.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 29 May 2021 11:53amNot sure about the next generation but Ray and Tony were both involved in racist instances. Any weekend when the filth and the brown baggers lose and the Saints win is a bloody good weekend.
Just a pity that the drug cheats won. I was batting a hundred before the happened

Re: AFL General Discussion
Yes - not a weak position. Injuries could change that or they might have a dream run. Petracca another BOG. We've done our bit for the disadvantaged by using recruiters from the RVIB in the last decade - perhaps it's time to get someone who can actually see.

Arrogant turd was hopeless tonight.
What a fuckn shame for Cats players and for that fucknuckle Scott
What a shame for their fans that they don’t play every single week down at sleepy hollow
What a fuckn shame that the Grand Final isn’t played at GMHBA
What a shame that Steven Dank and The Weapon can’t ‘help’ them out anymore

Selwood has evidently been taking lessons from his eye gouging coach
