Loris. My next puddy will be a Russian blue.
They are awesome looking kitties imo.
My bitsa is curled up on his blankie in front of the fire....even thou its not lit.
Anyhoo.
Funny how today and yesterday no one can comment on the situation.
I heard the windy hill press conference was a bit blah today with absolutely nothing said...

Re: I took banned drug: Watson
Pluggsy - a few months ago you said you were 99.9% sure that the EFC would field a side in 2014.
Now that equates to 1/1000 chance that they wont field a team.
Because Im feeling generous I am prepared to halve that and call it 500 to 1. You up for that bet?

No , Hird said that Jobe will keep his medal, so that is it he will cos Hirdy says so.matrix wrote:Loris. My next puddy will be a Russian blue.

Hird said he cant wait for the truth to come out.... well we all cant wait for that... like the truth when you were/werent going to be essendon coach
Hird said Jobe is a fine upstanding individual, I am sure he is and was until you injected him with s..t that has not even been deemed fit for human consumption.
Hirdy says so, so it must be
Re: I took banned drug: Watson
My take is that Jobe I'd answering to his own conscience, that's understandable given nobody else there seems to have one

When Hird said he couldn't wait for the TRUTH to come out he meant the TRUTH NEWSPAPER. He has a fascination with page 3 girls !!mullet wrote:No , Hird said that Jobe will keep his medal, so that is it he will cos Hirdy says so.matrix wrote:Loris. My next puddy will be a Russian blue.

I AGREE. Jobe and Tim are both probably good blokes, but terribly naive and trusting. Maybe not so much now.

Hirdy cant wait for the truth
Tim cant wait for the truth
And yet nobody is telling the truth.
If I had info that would clear my name then I would be telling any one who would listen and even those who wouldnt
Andrew Gaze said the same to Tim yesterday
I guess that the truth is really good, but they just havent thought of it yet

One could be forgiven for suspecting it's (utter) bulltish.
I'm appalled that hird is still coaching rather than jobe is still playing.

Timmy Watson has some 'secret information' get out of jail free card that he id not yet at liberty to divulge.
2 months the secret info was the 'dank letter from asada'.
There are many many many lies in this affair and they have all been told by the Essendon Football Club.

There are some people in the community who think nothing will be done to Hirdy because he is a golden boy and a legend of the game.
Having said that, I truly believe that Hirdy himself is one of those people who think nothing will be done to Hirdy because he is a golden boy and a legend of the game.

Re: I took banned drug: Watson
Just to summarise where we have been on this and to shine a light on the real LIARS in this saga here is a list of events - (i pinched this off bigfooty and added some of my own in)
The story so far.....
1. We're shocked to be sitting here. We don't know what we've taken
2. We've taken nothing illegal
3. Hirdy and Evans went to a briefing on aod-9604 in January 2012 but it was for private investment purposes only.
4. No one outside Dank and the Weapon knew what was going on
5. Those invoices? What invoices? Oh, you mean the ones we signed and paid.
6. We don't know what we've taken
7. We've taken nothing illegal
8. What consent forms?
9. Oh. those consent forms. They don't prove that the substances named were actually taken.
10. The coaches and doctors didn't know about the forms or the program. Its all Dank and the Weapon's fault.
11. Oh yeah. Hirdy was in the room when the Consent forms were signed and was lining up for some injections
12. And oh yeah - Hirdy had a six month text fling with Dank raving on about the program and ran into Charter by accident in a Gold Coast Hotel
13. We don't know what we've taken
14. We've taken nothing illegal
15. But wait! We have a letter
16. No we don't
17. The forms state AOD-9604
18. But look! it's not in Section S2 of the WADA banned substances list
19. Oh, but it is in section S0. Damn!
20. But look there have been some cosmetics use! All clear!
21. Damn... WADA says banned for athletes
22. Yeah but... we aren't saying we took AOD-9604
23. But if we did take it, we think we're fine
24. Hang on - we did take aod-9604 but what got it from a compounding chemist so its all clear
25. Oh DAMN - that rule doesnt apply when its not approved for human use.
26. We didnt take anything
27. Jobe admits he took a banned substance.
28. Doc Reid knew about it after all
29. But we're still fine. Jobe and Timmy say so.

Re: I took banned drug: Watson
Story so far...........
James Hird is appointed coach of Essendon for 2011 season, after repeatedly denying he was interested in the job
Mark Bomber Thomspson comes 'out of retirement' (he was too burned out to continue at Geelong) to become Hird's assistant.
Bomber decides that the Essendon playing list is not 'strong/mature enough' and recommends to Hird that they employ 'the weapon' Dean Robinson to fast-track' the strength and conditioning area. Robinson had been Bomber's guy in that role at Geelong.
Robinson brings his 'mate' Stephen Dank as the 'Sports Scientist' to oversee their program of artificially quickening the 'strength/maturity program'.
Dank 'presents' to Hird and Essendon Club President David Evans about a supplement he is promoting called AOD9604 - which is notorious for mimicking a 'growth hormone' and stimulating muscle growth.
Essendon decides to install the 'Dank Program' in their Club.
'Consent Forms' are prepared for the playing group to sign which include an agreement to use the supplement AOD9604 (amongst other substances)
An 'injecting gallery' is set up across the road from Windy Hill in a 'botox clinic' where the playing group is systematically injected repeatedly with substances (including AOD9604) in an effort to speed up the process of strengthening and conditioning.
The Essendon playing group suffer a seemingly inordinate number of 'soft tissue' injuries midway through season 2012.
At the end of the season Dean Robinson is sacked. Steven Dank is also 'let go'
Early 2013, forewarned about an upcoming ACC Press Conference about organized crime, drugs and sport and after former player Kyle Reimers make inflammatory statement about injections, Essendon advise the AFL that they have an 'issue'. Evans, Robson (ceo) and Hird hold a press conference stating :-
they are unaware of what was injected into their players
they are sure it's only vitamins
they have done nothing wrong.
Bomber Thompson, quizzed that night on Fox 360 admits that their 'Sports Science Program' was 'close to the edge'
Mark McVeigh states on SEN that it is all 'rubbish' and that Kyle Reimers must have been asleep in the meetings where the players were told exactly what was going on.
After negative publicity, Essendon hold an 'information night' for the parents of their players.
An apparent letter from Doctor Bruce Reid to the Essendon Board detailing his concerns about what was going on disappears.
Steven Dank publicly states he has an authority from WADA to use all substances he used.
Essendon hire pr consultants (spin merchants) and keep putting out the line that :-
they took nothing other than vitamins,
and if by chance they took anything else, it was above board,
if only the investigation was completed they could truthfully tell what was going on, even though they didn't know what was going on.
David Evans hires Ziggy Switkowski (an Essendon supporter) to hold an independent report into 'corporate governance' at Essendon.
Weeks later Switkowski hands down his 'independent report' which results in sacrificial lamb Robson resigning. Included in his findings is the fact that 'substances' were ordered, delivered and paid for by Essendon FC.
June 24, Jobe Watson reveals on 'FOX's ON THE COUCH that he was injected with AOD9604, admitting to receiving 40 injections.
June 26, James Hird repeats that Essendon have done nothing wrong and that they look forward to the investigation finishing so that they can truthfully reveal what transpired.
Have I missed anything of importance?

It makes their original claim that "no one from the board, executive or coaching panel had any knowledge of the drug program" look ridiculous. They are lying devious pricks but large portions of the media still swoon when Hird walks in the room

Dont forget the media frenzy on how well they are doing under extreme pressure.
And that every win seems to eliminate any wrong doings that have taken place, and in fact shows the world that they are wrong and the EFC is right

Essendon will play in the AFL in 2014 and I am very happy to have a bet on that.
Now to Con and all the others that have decided guilt but havent heard one bit of evidence I put this to you and would like an honest answer. Essendon for some unknown reason seem very hopeful of getting off. All evidence says thay couldnt possibly but say they were to show the people investigating this a document that clearly says ASADA has passed the drug for them to use. its a bit maybe but I cant see any other reason for their confidence. Surely if they have a document like that then they must get off even if it is a banned drug because Australias highest drug agency has cleared the drug for human use.

Re: I took banned drug: Watson
because pluggs - rather than address the issues themselves or focus on the subject matter or the players involved in the saga - you chose to focus on me and play the man (as is your much loved norm on here). You called me dumb and a liar thus diverting & distracting from the issue itself. This tactic often works for you and the thread descends into a personal slanging match.plugger66 wrote:Con Gorozidis wrote:Pluggsy - a few months ago you said you were 99.9% sure that the EFC would field a side in 2014.

I am more than happy to cop your abuse (I secretly like it ) - but I wont let you steer the thread away from the subject matter.
