That was hard to watch. I can't believe we can't hit a target when under no pressure, but it seems we can't. Harvey excepted of course.

It's gunna be a long year from here ...

Hard to make that call from the outside but by the way they're playing I'd say so.

Time to appoint someone with a bit of credibility, preferably a former Saint.

how can you respect this loser Lyon.

Inspire us, do something. Stop telling Roo to lead to halfback to take a mark, and then kick it to where he should be.

Looks lost in the box, with all his muppets.

Yes sack another coach and get a former Saint in because all the top teams have former players.

I think it is about time for a players revolt...
Make Harvey captain-coach...

You're not for one second insinuating that Ross Lyon has employed today's tactics to prove a point to St Kilda supporters are you?

We were never a chance.

Melbourne next week though, things are looking up.

Could Sydney be laughing all the way to the bank? Did we leave them the gem in Longmire? And take the dud in Lyon?

Whats worse is that we always fail to make any attempt of a comeback.

Game just travel on the same gradient right through the match.

It makes me sick.

Not even half a chance. With the conditions 60 points would be a good loss.

I think everybody has summed it up already!

I never expected to win today but its terribly disappointing.. Its easy to see why the players seem to play full of self doubt & with no confidence.. We really need to change the way things are going..

Nobody, well atleast the majority of supporters, members, players etc etc are happy with the way we are headed & if we dont make some major changes we are gunna continue turn up just to make up the numbers..

Its only half time & I hope the boys can climb their way out of the BIG hole they are in..

Joey has really had an ordinary year and is worse today. What has happened to him. Same with Gram and these guys are the only guys with pace.

When we're playing for pride and it's only half-time, then everything sucks. So thoroughly cheesed off, I wanna throw rotten fruit at them.

Anything under 80 points would be a win!

Tongue in cheek, but it's not a huge stretch of the imagination.

Media/Fans say we should lose the defensive gameplan, therefore play an attacking unaccountable brand of footy and get smashed. Reaffirms that his original plan was 'good' and back to business.

Lets change coach on a week to week basis then.

According to your analogy, Mark Thompson should have been sacked Saturday morning in order to NOT keep things exactly as they are.

Why is it the coach's fault our players cannot hit a target? Do you think they don't train in skills? Fair dinkum, get a clue you lot.

The players do the kicking and handballing. It's their bloody fault if they miss what they should hit.

Well for starters i would say Lyon is taking in underdone players who looked no where near ready or capable to play out a game!

Go saints in '09!
