Why, did you think he should have continued on playing with a concussion?

Clearly wasn’t right, having only 2 touches in 1.5 quarters of football.

Watched the 3rd quarter again today. Great to watch but picked up something on the replay, Selwood pulling Jack Steele’s arm, on the damaged shoulder, both players nowhere near the ball. What a disgraceful act and reinforces my poor opinion of him.

Cool, we’ll have to agree to disagree. For mine clearly hampered players shouldn’t be on the field.

Yes I saw that. I was surprised the commentators didn’t highlight it. I thought they would have gone back & shown a replay when there was a break in play. It was early in the 3rd Quarter, at a centre bounce, if I recall correctly. Steele didn’t seem concerned at Selwood’s action though. He just moved straight to his position for the bounce.

Re watch the game. At half time he had 4 direct score involvements for Geelong, including one effort where he had a basically unopposed bounce and hit it forward to two loose cats players. when our three mids were set up behind. I thought it was very reminiscent of pruess' pathetic efforts against us a few weeks ago.

Whilst taking CBA's in the first half (vs. blicavs and stanley), we lost clearances, hit outs and hit outs to advantage. He should have been dominant against that pairing

Moving him out of the ruck and up forward won us the game. Simple.

We wish Steele a speedy recovery .......

but in terms of the above - Nothing to it - unless I am looking at a different incident - Selwood just feels for Steele at a ball up in the forward 50 and Steele shrugs him off - there was no pulling - just an outstretched hand to determine positioning

We are not that soft!

Yes I watched the replay, and it was at the 19.04 mark. Actually, seeing it the second time, it was quite innocuous, no wonder Steele took no notice. I think I was caught up in the emotion of the game when I was watching it live and thought it was worse than it was. However I noticed on the replay, in the third quarter a few other Geelong players targeted his shoulder if they could. Steele wasn’t perturbed at any stage........the injection must have worked well.

19.04 or 19.05. Really on second viewing, there wasn’t much in it. Steele didn’t react. It appeared worse when I was watching game on tv live, because I was too invested in the game. So rather inconsequential, that’s why the commentators didn’t pick up on it, I assume.
