think too many on here are just focusing on the umpiring and not mentioning just how poor we are playing.
Umpiring does appear to be bias though!

Well I would be very motivated if the umpiring was drinking you down the whole game. Yeah we are bad but the game wasn't played on even terms.

if you were out there and the umps are crucifying you would you be trying your guts out? ive seen games of footy where teams have actually given up and thats what we did when it was obvious that it wasnt a fair competition. but yeah we are a bottom team who needs a fair umpy team if we are even gunna get close to a top 8 tesm

We a playing a team that will prob win the GF. We are cooked for this season. Such a potent forward line the WC have. Don't see them "resting" players.chook23 wrote:think too many on here are just focusing on the umpiring and not mentioning just how poor we are playing.

We are playing as well as they are letting us

Jackie Sinclair hasnt got a sniff. Savage doesnt get involved enough. Going through the motions. Easier said than done against a rampant Eagles in Perth I know.

Re: Match thread v Eagles
How can you enjoy a game even if we are far worse a team but to be screwed over by non decisions and wrong decisions just makes it not worth watching.
As I type Jack Darling drops the ball in front of goal???

We are kidding ourselves if we think there is anything but honorable losers for another 10 years. The GWS and GC are going to dominate and they are propping the WA and Sydney teams. We will lose all our talent to the teams with some money under FA. Its s*** these day footy.

Re: Match thread v Eagles
Our last 6 games have been (generally) poor, but that is because after a reasonably soft first 16 rounds, we started to play good sides, 3 of them interstate. I cannot believe we are still sixth from the bottom at the moment. I think that says more about Melbourne and Essendon than it does about us though.

Re: Match thread v Eagles
They didn't have the option to rest players. If they lost tonight they faced the prospect of a trip to Melbourne or Sydney. So different circumstances to Freo.mullet wrote:We a playing a team that will prob win the GF. We are cooked for this season. Such a potent forward line the WC have.
