see I get how opposition supporters must love it, and I will banter with them.... and the media pisses me off but thats life..... but why extend the stupidity of some young players onto the whole organisation when in fact the club has come down VERY hard on them within 24 hours of it happening. it's almost like the club is trying too hard to make outsiders happy.

no worries, but somehow some of us vented at the time, at the players then understood that the club has handled it well..... we didn't feed the fire

so the reason there is a lot of articles on line is because peeps on here said an opinion and the majority was not good and wernt happy??

thats the reason we get so much press? coz all comments fed the fire and the people that work for papers jumped all over it?

It can't help, people ringing up radio stations "typical saints, not going to renew my membership"... gets replayed during the news, ends up on TV news, in the papers... hell they quote straight from here. Club is worried they will lose supporters, members and sponsers so go over the top in defending what they have done, inviting more media..... lovely cycle....

just my opinion

agreed
ringing up the radio and carrying on like a pratt about cutting up a membership card can be or seem a bit over zealous
but SS isnt the reason there is so much neg press

F*** cutting up my memberships
just cost 500+ odd bucks for crying out loud
