I think the simplest way to put it is we’re a club that’s all too happy to accept mediocrity and afraid to demand excellence.

Wish we had a marking tall forward, Naughton is having a night out.

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

That's a cop out. Who is doing this? Which people, and what have they said or done to suggest it?

Also, you're very optimistic saying this is mediocre.

Ironically Bevo's job was on the line coming into this game

Jones only had 7 possessions, in case he is wondering why he was subbed off.

For the last 10 damn years we've been crying out for midfield development and every year it's still our achilles heel.
What do you expect from a stupidly run club that goes out to recruit a cooked Hannebery on a huge 5 year contract, instead of identifying and bringing on new talent. What successful sporting enterprise handsomely funds the retirement package of a player who year in year out offered nothing on-field?
There's a reason why St Kilda is the the target of regular 'rabble' jokes by opposition supporters and over the years often labelled the laughing stock of the competition.
At least Treloar has given good service to the Dogs and playing well again tonight.
I didn't think I would witness a more embarrassing loss than that against Essendon so soon but I have tonight.
We are truly a 'rabble' and I've hated hearing that but it's a deserving description for this amateurish club.

Had an absolute shocker last week...looked disinterested.

As I said after the team was announced...how frustrating for the coaches not to have any options at the selection table

We put our stars up on a pedestal (whether they deserve it or not) and refuse to look at them objectively, players run around week after week knowing they’re untouchable, refusing to make hard calls for fear of media and fan (who are also conditioned to accept mediocrity) backlash, low training standards and everyone’s happy to have a laugh…

And so on and so forth

Bulldogs lead by 77 points with 3 mins left in the 3rd.

Might be a 100 point slaughter by the end of the non contest.
