Re: Jack Steven suspended for failing breath test
No dragit I haven't failed, I live and worked overseas for years, in Japan and the UK actually, and before I took off I did my research checking eligibility and possibilities for several countries - including Canada. And one of the things I read on the official documentation was that visas wouldn't be granted to people who had a drink driving conviction. No biggie.
Anyways, of course you're right, why would a football player earning a fantastic salary need to work overseas anyway. My point was only that a conviction for drink driving is no small thing, although I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I also think that Jack was a little unlucky in that clearly he was hungover the morning after. Hope he comes back twice as good. Good luck to him.

But it's about image and how it effects the club and sponsorship remember. The Redeemer wrote:I will be livid if that happens. I could not give two craps about Jack Steven being over the limit the morning after.Munga wrote:Last chance I reckon. If he's stupid enough to do it again he'll be shown the door.
What I do give two craps about is how well he plays.
It's not the 80's unfortunately.

How many standard drinks did you have before you wrote that last bit, p66?plugger66 wrote:BigMart wrote:Not sure why you would.
And that is NEARLY closer to ten.... Correct
Or possibly
It IS closer to 10
There is one thing you're right about.
Lucky for you, you have so many friends in high places, yeah?? Did Lendog put in a word, perhaps you could have helped out your boy 'Jackary'
You're not the one getting him on the piss are you???
You dont drink but do you shoot up heroin because there is someone wrong with you. I have no friends in high places unless they are actually in the breath testing machine. It looked a bit small to get into though. I have no idea what not sure why you would means. Can i ask one question. Were you beaten up quite regularly at school or did it start at your first job because i have always tools like you were beaten up quite regularly at school and like you later in life they were left with only their own company.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

"With wet weather forecast, the Saints named a team that Watters believes can handle the likely slippery conditions, but have also taken all three emergencies - Jason Cripps, Daniel Markworth and Brett Peake - to Brisbane."SainterK wrote:http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/ ... fault.aspx
It's probably best that a non listed 35yo former player is only an emergency, although at 35, he could still (theoretically) be running around. He played his last game almost 10 years ago.

Agree plugger. I thought that Stinger was not the foe list type. They are all soft.
please amend your post as quoted above......i did not post that comment so don't attribute it to me...it's actually highly offensive......i certainly don't drink and drive ...and have never had 8 cans of vb on one day in my life.....that comment was made by someone else, probably pluuga...in response to bs ....otherwise i will have to ask the mods to remove it...along with this thread i presume......thank you in anticipation....
