Re: Match Thread
Don’t know which is worst that quarter from the saints or the first half from the commentators .,,
Re: Match Thread
We are a tall short. It’s not rocket science .. Eagles win games in the air !!! No Carlisle or even Roberton, but play guys like Hind and Kent that are total spuds.

Re: Match Thread
Exactly we need to lock down on Kelly. I know its slippery but our blokes are fumbling and muffing far too many handballs.
Again too many under pressure handballs in the F50 turn and have a ping. Not out of but just need to start to get our mids going again.

Re: Match Thread
Have to agree. Ratts or Rough or whoever is running this show needs to make the point. Our best looks at goal have come from lowering the eyes. WC don't expect that from us

Re: Match Thread
Kent
Butler
Hind
9 touches between them
That is the problem right there.
Kent out, Carlisle in to fix the structure for a start
And any of Savage, Bytel, Roberton (Clark goes mid) or Phillips...
All would contribute more.
Frankly I’d rather see Byrnes or Parker at this point

Re: Match Thread
On this ground mids need to win a bloody clearance
Ryder and Marshall dominating but where are our mids????????
We have nothing
Let’s face facts this is a B grade eagles side and they’re making us look second rate
I’m starting to think we had a nice draw this year and got lucky cause the gap is embarrassing
Cats would be us by 100

Re: Match Thread
Ross has had 2 kicks, both went straight to the chest of a West Coast player

Re: Match Thread
It's a mental thing for us ..... not sure if we believe we are good enough
Currently a bunch of soft front runners not willing to get stuck in and with substandard handling skills
Kudos to Battle though for at least putting his body on the line twice

Re: Match Thread
Absolutely dreadful, insipid football from us. We need a change of tactics!! Bombing the ball in long is stupid football which plays into the Eagles’ hands. Corralling is a waste of time!!

Re: Match Thread
How many small fast players that can’t get the ball do we need.
May as well have a hundred

Funny thing is, we were winning them in the first qtr, but entering forward 50 like the Heathmere under 9'sTeflon wrote: ↑Thu 10 Sep 2020 9:19pmOn this ground mids need to win a bloody clearance

Re: Match Thread
Twenty three point turn around.
This side isnt fair dinkum.
Dead set, that was the worst quarter of the year.

Re: Match Thread
Absolutely. I was hoping we might be smart and done the Port trick from 2 years ago and maybe just skid the ball in. But no - let’s just kick it high to intercept marking players. Fvck me we’re stupid. Zero poise to lower eyesportosaint wrote: ↑Thu 10 Sep 2020 9:19pmHave to agree. Ratts or Rough or whoever is running this show needs to make the point.
