Raph is continuing his career trait of selling other players into trouble at every opportunity.

Farken McBurney what a can't that umpire is. How many frees has he given to Port. Conversely how many St.Kilda ones doe he miss?

Another opportunity awaits!

Not happy till the final siren but would love to see a bag for Milne and Roo :)

Goddards quiet work is solid.

Jack Stevens is rapidly becoming a first class player.

I would also say they seem to be running into mcevoy at every opportunity or is it my imagination?

worst ; FARKING UMPIRES 17-10 to port , all the soft ones going one way!!!!!
remember one was before the siren so it's 17-9 in actual play ;) Nearly twice as many and being killed..... go figure

Anyway

Positives:

The run, we look very good when our mids spread and work together. When we run hard an go with the first optons our skills 9outside of a few) are not that bad. Personally I don't think it's skills, more decision making and execution (because of the pressure of taking to long).

Peake was very good. Has been prt of 3-4 really impressive pieces of paly that would open up most defences.

Steven is our most improved player and the mcenvoy-steven interplay is a joy to watch.

Lynch was good in the first quarter, having him and gamble as hit up forwards make us look so much more dangerous.

Dal as a pure midfielder is a delight to behold and needs to lay midfield more often. Joey is running hard also.

Roo is working hard and presenting. Finishing weel also.

Mcenvoys first 1 1/2 quarters was sublime and needs to bring that to the table every week.

Negatives

Gram, make a decision and hit the contest hard. If not piss off. Only blight on a good half.

Sometimes we wont work hard enough to give options once we stop. There were times when the backman had no-one working for them and this resulted in turnovers.

Gamble needs to go the handball off to a runner then stop and kick. Allows us to run the ball better and reduces turnovers.

The umpiring has been terrible. I don't care if the player has or has not heard the whistle, if the play has not stopped and they take the advantage then it's advantage. If a player does not have the ball then it's not holding the ball against them. Not hard really, common sense.

Slightly unfair to place Tom Lynch amongst the fringe dwellers isn't it?

Gee ! I was whingeing about the umpiring , but looking at the stats ,
Up to this round P A have had 59 more frees than they've given away ,whereas the saints have given away 24 more than we've received .
Thats some advantage which probably won't change much by full time !

serious? if they haven't heard the whistle then how can they be considered to be claiming the advantage?

Incredible, umpires are slaughtering us, yet Roo has been paid more frees for being held than he has all year.

As long as the bias stays consistent and we keep scoring 3 goals to 1.

Think so. Steven, Milne, Fisher were the saints players involved.
