Does Paddy play next week, or do we try Battle?

Umpires help Richmond in last quarter..front on contact on Membrey. Play on Richmond goal. Mark to vlaustin when he was second to ball. Goal.

Played a lot better, made too many mistakes and Richmond killed us for them

Just curious where all the people who during aflx said Rice was too slow and wouldn’t make it? Finally we have a footballer and not an athlete out there.

It is obvious that all the young guys on our list should be given a chance. Bring Battle in and lets see what he has to offer. We have nothing to lose.

I'm here, I'll own up
But I don't think I said he wouldn't make it. Just that he looked unfit and off the pace.
Having watched him he seems pretty good, I will reserve the rest of my judgement for his next 20 games.

Correct and possibly would have ended up with 2 if he played the whole game. Still a fair way off it.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Richmond Round 10 2018
Battlle not ready yet. Season is done just sees it out now. Richmond were poor today so the score flatters us. We kicked well today and we're in it for a while so that is a plus. Sinclair was quiet but so we're a lot of other players. Paddy missed a sitter so not sold on him. Carlisle will get. A Week or two off so that will suck. Keep pu mping games into youngens

Re: Match Thread Saints v Richmond Round 10 2018
Sinclair's disposal skills were woeful today. Ross dropping a sitter mark when he wimped it and richmond swoops in and kicks a goal. McCartin not up to it. We were a real chance today and blew it.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
