Re: Nth v Mighty Sainters - Match thread
Can we get Roo and Montagna back? They’d be fresh without needing the preseason and with better skills
Oh, and 2028 is a pipe dream. Geelong topped for their stars and saints bottomed out.
Expect the exodus for all the good players at the end of the season... contracted or not.

I turned it over to watch Mtv while we had KFC for tea. Check the scores just now to see 35 down. We have hit rock bottom today

Seriously the worst performance for a long long time.
What has happened to Jack Steele, Jack Sinclair, Josh Bruce?
Haven't stuck a tackle.
Can't pass by foot.
I am an optimist, just made that way. But I'm nearly broken.

Disgusting performance.
So many problems. Where do you start?
Seen many bad losses as a Saints supporter but this is up there with the worst.
Confirmation that the rebuild has failed.
Matter of time for Richo.

Destroyed by a bottom 4 team. North were not great, we were just awful.
No finals in the foreseeable future.
I am gutted.

Absolute disaster for the club.
No hope in sight.
Crowds will dry up.
No glamour for TV.
No lustre as a destination club.
Coach contracted til 2020.
A farce.

Are you sure about that?shrodes wrote:Well at least we’ll get to see some changes next week. Tough run coming up though.
I would drop Longer, Steele, Long and Koby.
I expect Weller to come in for Sinclair or something equally unhelpful

Re: Nth v Mighty Sainters - Match thread
Now for some seriously hard questions: How many of these weak, insipid, gutless bast**** would get a game in our AFLW team..?! I thought so - ALL of them... because that's just how they play! Bloody disgusting. Peter has to ask some hard questions this week or our membership will resign en masse. But still they won't listen. This is BIGGER than ball tampering... drug regimes and the Fourth Amendment in America! Sorry... got a bit carried away there... perhaps not ball tampering...

One of the most embarrassing, insipid performances I have seen in 30 years. Disgraceful. Worst part is that I can’t see the upside.

Agree. Very poorly coached. Today had very little to do with cattle. No offensive structure, no defensive structure.... We looked lost. Cue ARTeflon wrote:Ball use agree but where’s the plan going forward???portosaint wrote:Seriously... What can we expect from our forwards with this pathetic ball use?? Members hardly sighted too. Bottom 4 more like another wooden spoon to our ample collection.
No 1 draft pick who can’t inflience a game at all? Can’t play deep and the forward line is inept
Forward line is an utter rabble
Nth look open? Every side against us looks semi coordinated, unlesss a ball bobbles out the back of someone’s hands in a scrambling pack we look like we have no hope of scoring?
We’ve actually won plenty of ball - gone forward and butchered it?
The rebound off half back they are gettibgbis deplorable
We are bottom 4 face no question and YEARS away from it

Re: Nth v Mighty Sainters - Match thread
clear out the entire coaching panel. richo is in well over his head as a senior coach.
drafting (bar mccartin) has been okay. we have some decent talent, but they need a decent coach to reach their potential.

No game plan again. Sick of the excuses. Richo can't coach. Our team is sub par. I keep turning up each week for this garbage.

Re: Nth v Mighty Sainters - Match thread
Left the ground and going to be a s**t train ride home. Today showed how bad our list is. I thought we might finish middle of the pack this year but we are much worse. We are a very poor team and please no damn excuses on what was on show today. Billings is so soft it's actually sad to watch and as for McCartin, his skill and pace is VFL level. A team that also has a Nathan Brown as their no. 1 full back is not going to go anywhere. Apart from Jack Steven and Carlisle in patches, we have no-one that any of the top teams would want.stevie wrote:I turned it over to watch Mtv while we had KFC for tea. Re: Nth v Mighty Sainters - Match thread
Thank god that is over
5 goals in a game of football
7 goals in the last qtr to our 2 behinds
When do we say enough is enough
When do we look at the club from the coaches down
This was the year we were meant to challenge for the top 4
A 52 point loss is unacceptable
Ruined my easter break
Thanks guys
