when deciding to go to a melb club in a job thats prob only going to last till you are around 30, location would have nothing to do with it...for a JOB
it would be a BIG factor
Without having a clue where Rice lives im pretty sure he lives much closer to Seaford than Princes park. That is why for especially I think it is rubbish about Seaford. So if its a big factor we must be getting Rice.

are you seriously having a go at Baines recruiting work ? seriously????Bunk_Moreland wrote:because we are a small team, Ameet has decided not to do anything and just collect his pay cheque.FQF wrote:Reported tonight that Treloar to Collingwood is pretty much a done deal. Re: Jake Carlisle
not really .... its pretty clear to see the recruiting is on the improve (that said it was so bad in previously any improvement is going to be massive)
sure it will take time to see how good those picks have been but the fact that our second rounders are getting regular games compared to the likes of previous years where none were getting up to standard ... that said we are a significantly different team now from then

Good news. Not sure we need another tall defender with a high pick. Will Schofield is a gun player and was a pick 50. Lets just focus on our midfield.Saints94 wrote:Moorabbin Ghost?Bunk_Moreland wrote:I hear this now wont be happening......if it ever was

I agree if you are going to give up an early pick you do it for a game breaker not a foot soldier ... Carlisle is a good player but I would rather a midCon Gorozidis wrote:Good news. Those thinking that Jake Carlisle would be a good investment should research the name Jonathon Hay. Hawthorn laughed all the way to the Draft table at Nth Melbourne's expence !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Henderson has more ticker than Carlisle. He's not a d*ckhead either....FQF wrote:Why better? Who is a better player? Also Hendserson will be 26.St Chris wrote:Lachie Henderson has officially requested a trade from the Blues, he'd be a better option than Carlisle??

Sorry mate, I don't understand what the comparison is. They're both quite tall? What are the other similarities in the situations?Eastern wrote:Those thinking that Jake Carlisle would be a good investment should research the name Jonathon Hay. I think it's pretty mature actually, and the reaction from Carlton shows the AFL industry isn't truly ready for free agency....saynta wrote:Oh, I thought Henderson just proved that he was a dick head and that's why he is now sitting out the last three games.St Chris wrote:Henderson has more ticker than Carlisle. Would you prefer the BS line "we're putting off contract talks until after the season, but i'm confident i'll stay" that supporters got from Ablett, and Goddard, and Tom Scully, and Chip Frawley, and Buddy, and are getting from Carlisle, Dangerfield and Luenberger???

Re: Jake Carlisle
reading between the lines I reckon Carlton knew he was heading out the door anyway and were always going to drop him for the last three games - Henderson just came out on the front foot saying he wanted to be traded and that's why he was being dropped to keep his value up... a player dropped for the last three games without explanation reflects poorly on the playerstinger wrote:Oh, I thought Henderson just proved that he was a dick head and that's why he is now sitting out the last three games.St Chris wrote:Henderson has more ticker than Carlisle.
