Are we talking about the critter draped around his body or the critter draped around his skull?Sainternist wrote:Goodness! What on earth is that dead animal Dermie has draped himself in?
Both would seem to share a certain amount of genetic material.

Re: Josh Bruce has gone mad.
Apologies if someone mentioned this before. I seem to remember it being mentioned that Josh Bruce was elite athlete material because he had done some rowing when he was younger. That sets up serious aerobic capacity and strength. Or did I dream that? Pretty sure it was Josh.

Re: Josh Bruce has gone mad.
Loved the big blokes game on the weekend also. Echo the sentiments of some here that we should remain optimistic, but cautious also. Being an old bugga that remembers numbers, I reckon the last blokes to pop up from no where to kick a half dozen in a game were Daniel Healy (against WCE?) and Steve Sziller (against Sydney?). Neither champs by any stretch but had a game where everything went right for them. Look, Bruce is not going to kick 6 a week. At best, we should be hoping for a consistent, week in, week out effort kicking 2 or 3, using his big boy to give the little blokes first use at ground level, and taking pressure off Rooey and hopefully extend the champs career by a year or two.
