I suppose it puts pressure on the backs but you have to be smarter. We've had more i50's than North this quarter but have only kicked 1 scrappy amazing goal by Armo.

The other thing that sh1ts me when we go forward - 5 North players against 3 when the ball hits the ground after a contest in our forward line. Why don't our mids run hard into attack. Need to impact the scoreboard and be hungry for the footy. Stop being second to the ball.

Shents comes on and is involved straight away. Recon he is really showing something and worth persisting with.
Way ahead of Ross, Newnes, Saunders, dunnell, simpkin, Saunders IMO. really has a dip, but importantly, he gets the ball and uses it.

They're doing that because our forwards are not leading apart from Roo, and everything forward of the centre for us is completely shambolic, compounded by our overuse of handball.

That's something a coach should be addressing, but for all the talk, we are going backwards in basic football.

To be honest, the reason we are so far behind is because of our finishing.
Should only be around 5-7 goals down, just hope we can finish the game off and not be completely blown away.

All very well to say that, but who would you suggest we replace them with?

We let Lynch and McEvoy leave, and they were never going to be stars perhaps, but they were both extremely handy for their respective sides last night. We need depth until we have been able to develop the next generation of players, which will take two to three years based on this season's performances.
