Myself and 4 mates where level 2 Memebers side, as he got closer a the ball from a perfect pass out in front of him, it was as if everything was in slow motion,
We could see it now, our glorious no1 draft pick up high,beautiful lead,marks in front and goals from 50. All 5 of us where on our feet, arms up in the air, in unison, to the cries of "McEVOY"!!!
HE leaps high, arms fully extended, such a graceful looking sight.. .. As the ball goes through his fingers and you can actually hear the force of the ball, as it scones him fair and square on the head,
we turn around to each other and go "NAH"
To make things worse, the ball ricochets 20 meters of his head, to the opposition.....
then we wet ourselfs with laughter
