Those are not my words, they're Michael Nettlefold's just over a month ago.
We've just played in finals for a decade and 2 grand finals… Coming from the outside, it seems that we should be in a reasonably strong position right now.
Or maybe there are just too many clubs in Victoria to run 10 successfully at 50 million each?
And yet Brisbane Lions won 3 flags in a row and made a 2 million loss each year. So GFs don't always turn around the finances.
