Hey Con, I reckon they got the letter alright. Poor old Doc, they knew he would be on to it. They knew if they got the letter it would have to be tabled at board meeting and entered into the minutes. As others have mentioned. The acc report leaves off the S) section which prohibits any drug not approved for human use. Thus from 2011 when the drug was first put to clinical tests it has been banned by WADA and those under their rules. Simple. WADA has clarified this several times. Not sure how the AFL can allow Watson to play this Thursday night.

My wife works with people close to Essendon footy club and they believe that there will be no penalty. Their legal team is extremely confident. It wasn't banned according to them and they will fight this in court and have the back up of blaming it all on Dank. AFL has a fight on their hands to even fight this in court. A nominal fine is all I'm thinking will come from it.

It was meant to be legal according to the ASADA website at the time.

That would explain their cockiness about being innocent...
