Let’s see if Ratten can coach

What is happening is not working

Make the following changes
Steele to Green - match his strength
Sinclair into the middle
Hill to HB to provide some run
Ross to the wing
Mason Wood Forward

If we carry on over possessing the ball at stoppage the game is lost

The want to handball the ball in close to a player under pressure is ridiculous

Kicking like that demoralizes a team. Unforgivable misses.
Higgins missed from 15 metres out just deplorable absolute Auskick stuff …this is an AFL player ????
No good beating up teams with no pressure

NWM needs a game or two for Sandy. Wood is not a wingman. We basically playing with no Wings with them two tonight. Howard having a shocker.

The lengths people are going to to justify this "dissent" rule is an abomination to the game. It cannot be justified, it will not be appreciated in "D" grade sh!tsville, people are kidding themselves if they think it will.

Losing Hayes was bad. And I really don’t know what the club can do about Long: he’s a liability, that was a dreadful foul and he deserves 4 weeks IMO.
A bit harsh I think, it looked like he let go of the GWS player half way through the tackle. I'd be surprised if he got multiple weeks, but then it is Ben Long.

Missing that 2nd ruck in the F50 because clearances are killing us, the same as lacking another tall threat in the forward line. Huge loss has been Hayes.

You need to learn the new rules Curly, it's that simple.

If that’s 50 we may as well stop games and award a winner at the toss. The rule is demonstrive or abuse. No abuse not demonstrative.

He just stuffed up then made it worse.

Flynn free and goal incorrect

Ward 50 and goal incorrect
All week they’ve been told they’re not allowed to question/dispute the umpires decision.

I thought you were told to stop spamming the thread with your rubbish?

Pressure has dropped off & GWS are all over us like a cheap suit yeah we have missed some gimmes but so have they. Going to take a a very committed team effort to win from here & game not over by any stretch but the body language is not looking great ATM.

In reality it was much worse than what Ryder did. Will be interesting.

I must watch a different game to some of you, because Howard wouldn’t be anywhere near the top of my list of players having a shocker.

We’re losing the game in the midfield, not to mention missed shots on goal . GWS have been bombarding their forward line, but would still be behind but for a couple of dodgy free kicks.

Probably lucky to be within 2 goals.

The second half will show if this team is for real, still very winnable game.

Nup dumb move
We need to win the ball around the contest
We’ve stopped our first quarter run
We’ve dropped away in pressure

The style of the game changed markedly from quarter 1 to 2

I think it was GWS coaching but we completely lost an ability to move the ball and reverted back to get the ball, stop, hold, bomb long.

With the run completely out of the game…
Gresh went missing
Higgins went from 5 touches in the first to 2 in the second
Hill found it harder to get the ball but presented
Ross was stopping and propping
Butler couldn’t get it

Need to move the ball boys

9-6 in the first - we lead
4-9 in the second - they lead

Long had no reason to tackle Hill, it was a dangerous tackle, and there was a serious risk of concussion.

They’re going to throw the book at Long. And I can’t see that he has any plausible defence.

I would think the club is getting close to having had enough of him.

He’ll be ok he just needs to go back
Wood has form at North of going missing I’m not a huge wrap for up and down players ….has to step up

Ross 8 touches
Hill 5
Gresham 5
Wood 2
Wanganeen-Milera 3
Windhager 3

Average 4 touches for a half. This and atrocious goal kicking is why we're behind

Can we NOT make this thread about FKN umpiring

The 50 was there - he disputed the decision

Howard had his arm around

We got 9 free kicks to 6 in the First… a couple resulting in goals

How about we analyse the putrid effort by the players?!
