Are you actually a saints supporter or what? It's not hard to check who we're playing next and it's not those three - I'll save your brain - it's Melbourne.chico2001 wrote: ↑Sun 17 Jun 2018 10:15pm I still think he should go. A win over a bottom 3 side should not have changed anything. The players played 1 good quarter, he didnt motivate them in the first 3 quarters. The win may self motivate the players though. Got PA, carlton and Richmond coming up next.

Wow really? There is no need for that type of reply. Spitting on a person? How low can you go. If I knew how to I would report you. We dont need your type of person here.

If you are a moderator, you need to reign in the idiot posters such as jacks back first before you start on me. Quite a lot of posters like to hand out some abuse on here but dont like getting it back.....and I meant every word I said too.

Andrew Skrobalak. Also coaches Frankston.

Coaching?
Come on let's be serious. When an opposition team has been playing well our gameplan and structures cannot impede them.
They waltz around our one dimensional forward press with ease.
Richo has 5 years to get his gameplan sorted out and it fails against most teams.
Yes we are 2 stars adrift of what we need, but Richo's gameplan hobbles what assets we do have.
It is time for someone new.

Yep. A pity chico didn't choose harpo as the username. That way we wouldn't have to hear that kind of drivel.

Surely one must.

Great question. One of those two must surely. They're the top of the food chain so, one of them has to be a major part of the problem (I'm not addressing Danny Sexton here - he can absolutely GTFO).rodgerfox wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 3:56pmTony74....tony74 wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 3:11pmWell you really don’t know the bloke. Understand if a new ticket comes in it will be a completely different story. My opinion... Richo will remain, turtle will move on. Danny is an interesting one. Really well thought of in AFL circles and has had offers from other clubs. I really am unsure of that one.rodgerfox wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 3:56pmTony74....tony74 wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 3:11pmWell you really don’t know the bloke. Stood up for his brother. I think Danny and Alan are a double act.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

You confirm what I have heard to be true anyway. That blemish at least.tony74 wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 3:11pmWell you really don’t know the bloke. Stood up for his brother. Like I said, don't know him, so its not my judgment. But I know people who do and their opinions are very different to some others.

I am in no doubt whatsoever that Danny Sexton is the one who has to go, he's been with the Saints since 2006, has never played at senior level and yet has worked his way up to the position of Director of Coaching. Richo is answerable to Sexton and if you watch closely he sits beside Richo during the game, even when Richo moves to coach from the bench. If as you say Sexton is highly rated then he should have no trouble finding a job elsewhere, but I can't imagine that the CV he has built up at the Saints will be very impressive if you take into account where the saints are this year, and the state of the list with a paucity of elite talent in the +100 games category - which is the main reason the Saints lack on-field leadership, so vital for developing the young guns coming along...
12 years at the one club is too long, likewise Elshaug with 10 years who has now been shown the door!

Agree. I will be praying for a new board if thats the only way we get rid of Richo. The only Assistants I would keep on are Hamill & Playfair.
Hopefully the club are currently trying to attract replacements at present.

Pretty sure I saw in last weeks’ media that all the assistants except Playfair are out of contract. That will decide who stays and who goes as much as anything.

Would love to welcome Banger home! He would be a great addition as a midfield coach - although he has had a pretty good group to work with at the Pies.tony74 wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 9:28pmAlways on the lookout, an ex Saint by all accounts is very very good.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Mon 18 Jun 2018 8:23pmAgree. Surely he would be more attractive to work with for Free Agents than the current.
