What pisses most off is that the smug media are right again! We suck interstate.

We rely so much on Steven. Been well held. This is where we need Ross, Newnes Dunstan and Acres to really step up and take more on their shoulders - can't keep leaving the heavy lifting to Steven and Armo. Hickey down from previous high standard - need a huge lift from him.

f*** me, looked at the stats, 10 suns players have more disposals than our top disposal player.

The third game curse. But a while half to play. Lads need to arrest the trend.

We get exposed by teams with leg speed. And the fact half the team can't hit a target

Membrey is a bit soft mentally.
Chronic lack of talent across the board.
When the structure and system falls down, we simply don't have the talent to make something happen.

Re: Saints v Gold Coast match thread
Predicted this would happen to be honest. They have been gradually getting back to having their best side in, we are three key defenders down and they have some serious power forwards who haven't had opportunities for three months. They've lost ten in a row, which rarely happens these days, and we have started slowly in our last couple of games interstate showing little resistance in those matches. Eade would have targeted this game as the one to get them started in the second half of the year, as after us they have winnable games coming up at home against Brisbane and Fremantle.
Their senior players would have been put on notice this week - stand up or else. It is pretty hard to beat a side with some seriously talented forwards when you have a depleted back line. We have beaten all of our fellow foundation teams this year so I can afford to be a bit philosophical about this one.
But, gee that Callum Ah Chee is really having a day out - was he a rookie?

Gotta go small in the forward line.
Riewodlt needs to go up the ground.

Re: Saints v Gold Coast match thread
It was better because they took it on at half back and took some risks moving it quickly. need more of that.

Absolutely inexcusable.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

Re: Saints v Gold Coast match thread
Eagles and Crows are good sides. Suns are coming off 10 loses in a row and an interstate 6 day break. Don't underestimate how poor a performance this is.
They should be 12 goals up atm.
