Why not just carry on in the assumption that the sub-forum model is now kaput and will be officially rearranged eventually (...maybe), and from now on only post (in) topics in the 'old' section?

Surely if the mods & admin aren't interested, this shouldn't bother them.

i agree markp, but i guess the problem is that when bfusa took over he insisted it wouldn't be a dictatorship, whilst also putting forward his view that the GF didn't even belong. One view. One view out of many - many of whom have been here a lot longer than him and have contributed a lot more than him. For one not interested in the GF he then decided it should be split into subforums - now that takes a lot more effort than ignoring it, so what was the agenda? it also garnered the total support of just one solitary poster - yet the democratic leader went ahead and did it anyway? so what was the agenda? then having seen the GF quickly fade away he magnamiously claimed he would revert it by a set date. yet didn't and has not been heard on the issue since. so what was the agenda!
He needs to do the right thing and right his wrong.

I think the weight of it all has likely (& inevitably) crushed his optimistic spirit, and he's subsequently gone a bit howard hughes on us... he wouldn't be the first broken by SS!

Hopefully it's just temporary and wont get to orange hat or 'mysteriously' deleted accounts levels.

i know you weren't mate - not putting any of this on you, you were just the only one that was okay with the idea - your opinion on the matter is fine and fair, not suggesting you'd support ignoring majority view in anyway.
