Re: Saints v Cats Match Thread
Some of our good players just are not doing enough.
BJ, Joey and Dal need to do more
Wilkes and Kosi have really done bugger all.
Steven makes the ball look like a bar of soap.
Milne, Saad and Lenny have done good things.
The defense cant keep getting hammered like this.
We really need to pull the collective finger out
BANG BANG

Face it guys, we are being totally outplayed by the Cats.
We have a small backline and have had it all season.
Easy to attack Kosi and Steven, at least Jack is trying
WTF is Dal Santo, Montanga, and Goddard doing?
SFA thats what.
We are getting Fkn SMASHED in the ruck and they are doing Fkn NOTHING.
It all starts in the midfield and they are letting Lenny, Armo and Jack do it all.
The moment the siren went in 2010 GF 1 I knew it was over for at least five years.
Unfortunately we are on the downhill slope.
But stick with the team and Watters. he seems to be a good one.

What is it with not putting Kosi (who has not touched the ball) or Stanley in the ruck instead of Gilbert when McEvoy is resting (until kosi late)? WHY???
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

This game is pretty much showing exactly where our weaknesses are, a lot of soul searching to be done with that playing list over summer

Kosi is yet to have a disposal. It is disgraceful that he gets a game week in week out. If I read one post on here tonight that says we need him for structure I am going to ......

Re: Saints v Cats Match Thread
An amazing stat. Kois has one clanger and has been on the ground for 94% of the game. The highest of all those on the ground?
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Pretty sure Watters is well aware of all the deficiencies. I look forward to seeing what he does in the off season. He aint no dummy. Lets hope he gets that monster backman he craves and a few more

I hate the guy but listening to MMM they say Kosi doesnt seem to know what to do in this situation and looks listless.ShanghaiSaint wrote:i feel a massive kosi hate storm coming on.
He needs to be in the play or get him off. Time for Sneids to come on IMO.

Re: Saints v Cats Match Thread
The game has changed so much in two years. No good having players who have a crack, get their fair share of the ball but are not great disposers by foot. This is a big issue with our current list and the younger players we have recruited.
Ross did an amazing job, didn't appreciate it enough at the time and like most glad we are heading in another direction but we are many years away from getting back to being a top four team.
