i would suggest all footy fans that want change do the same - hit their revenue stream - it's all they care about.
personally i'd prefer the afl dies and the victorian clubs go back to the vfl instead of what we have now.

collingwood/thomas to contest

http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/ ... fault.aspxBut the tribunal disagreed, upholding the 'intentional' classification and the 225 demerit points allocated by the MRP, which was reduced to 168.75 points and a one-week suspension due to the 23-year-old's previous good record.
Suspended.

While I know that there have now been plenty of precedents, I still don't understand why you can contest the charge and get the 25% discout for pleading guilty at the same time. My understanding was that the discount was for those who accepted the panel's findng and the tribunal was spared the inconvenience of having to meet.
If you contest the charge, you should pay the full penalty

he lost the deduction for pleading guilty- but retained the deduction for having a good record- hence still over 100 ( 1 game) but under 200( 2 games)Fidelis wrote:While I know that there have now been plenty of precedents, I still don't understand why you can contest the charge and get the 25% discout for pleading guilty at the same time. Unbelievable! I nearly fell off my chair at work when I heard that on the news,so did Quartermain. He should of been given an extra 6 weeks for this disgraceful lie,and the club fined half a mill.Leo.J wrote:More lies from the Filth...Thomas told the tribunal he caught a glimpse of the ball as it spilled free from a contest with Jones and swung his arm with a clenched fist in a bid to knock it forward for his team.
This is what happens when they are allowed to get away with cheating taking growth hormones, and steal a premiership because of it. They think they can do and say what they want......it's laughable. They should be kicked out of the comp for 5 years, they make me sick to the bone. Every fibre of them is evil, from top to bottom. They are like the worst bad character out of a hollywood movie, but there is no happy ending in this movie, they keep getting away with being evil

There can be a happy ending. Write to the Taliban, tell them about how much exposure they will get down under, send them a map of the Lexus Centre and tell them to do their thing when the fat boy is there. Can you imagine how many of their feral supporters will jump off the West Gate Bridge after that.

Any way matrix I seem to remember Eddie and Quartermain using the Baker defence when a prominent drug identity raped a woman at one of Eddies parties. They couldn't recall anything from memory, I can imagine what that guy was doing at his soiree? Eddie is so wholesome on the telly he wouldn't know guys like that.[/quote]
