Well, simplistic would not be the word I would choose. Talking about the sociology of teenagers figuring out the birds and the bees never has and never will be simple.
On the football side of things, and girls and their mothers - keeping in mind I'm in Melbourne and you're in Cairns - all the mums and soon to be mums I've talked to (socially and via daycare, anecdotal and anything but comprehensive, not a common subject of conversation at daycare) about it are going to put their girls into Auskick and let them decide later. The idea being that while the girls likely quit before boys for social reasons, there will be no lack of playing through lack of opportunity.
But then, Footy is air down here. I can't imagine trying to segregate it.

Couldn't agree more. If there is grass on the pitch - let them play.BAM! (shhhh) wrote:Well, simplistic would not be the word I would choose. Talking about the sociology of teenagers figuring out the birds and the bees never has and never will be simple.

As I said "No one" wins... It was a description of them, that's what I (and many others) think they areCairnsman wrote:News Ltd reaps some short term benefit.HSVKing wrote:Oh yay!

No one wins in this situation.

Isn't a live blog just another way for media outlets like New Ltd to direct your attention towards their revenue making activities.HSVKing wrote:As I said "No one" wins...
