This little passage of play tells a lot about us today:

Montagna gets it 70m from goal, kicks back to wing to Gilbo, goes to Sam Fisher in centre, to Blake, long bomb, Milne to top of square but North take it away.
milne should be dropped for taking a risk and trying create a scoring opportunity instead of kicking it backwards...
He should never have been brought back in the first place. He is a liability and I dont care how many goals he kick...his lack of pressure and team plays ends up costing us far more than he gets....He is gone and should never play for this club again!
Sorry, in the nicest possible way .. you have no idea
I think I do...I actually agree with Grant Thomas who knew a thing or tow about Milne. In short Milne wouldnt be there if Thomas still was..in fact Milne was scouting around for another club and no one whoed any interest. You need to havre a closer look at how other clubs play the games and get your rose colored glasses off...you cant see whats really happening mate

It's almost like we played this game in two styles. The first quarter was chippalotto, and was terribly unsuccessful. The second quarter was mor attacking and got better results. But that's just me listening to the radio - does it sound right to those who can see it?

Agreed!

Finally it looks like we've found something! The Saints have a pulse! Can they keep it going is the next question that needs answering! For about 10 minutes in the 2nd quarter I saw some very promising signs! The Roo's were flustered!

How many times have we tried to use Milne as a marking forward inside 50? Why havn't we/don't we use someone taller as a marking target? This s***s me that we have so many players who play dumb footy. We bust our ass to get the ball forward then some moron kicks to Milne in a pack?

What are we doing with Woody? why not kick the ball to him with Milne at his feet where small forwards are meant to be (just ask Matt Campbell 3 goals in a half from roving the pack)?

Exactly! He's a crumber plain and simple! But the thing that really gets me is kicking to ANY contest where we are clearly outnumbered or not out in front! I mean seriously, what is that????

3rd quarter will make or break us! Go Saints!

We have 6 players with 10 or more possessions; they have 11.

Milne has to be dragged. Ignored Dal Santo while he was getting tackled.

Signs of the first quarter are coming back now.

Goal to Kangas.

Milne shouldn't have been selected.

He goes on holiday when playing interstate, a disgrace to the jumper away from Victoria.

Bloody Kosi just missed!

Allen takes a nice mark and misses. 3 points in a row, have to kick them.

Thompson marks and misses. Let off there. We have to make our play count.
