X Clarke almost had his head removed. Dal to Armitage, Fraser breaks pack. lightning handpass from Jones to Dal, to Fiora. Looking great, actually. Shot for goal.... Fiora... didn't quite hear if it was a goal or not, sorry.
But .. the good thing is there are so many options in our forward line.
Dal has lost weight, looking great.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

IT'S THRE QUARTER TIME NOW.
So... my comments
Sounds like our game plan is a open forward line, with heavy reliance on Kosi. the good things that have come out of our performance so far are that out young kids have all got a go, and had a chance to do some good things. The young boys (Geary, Allen, Armitage, Fiora) have all been mentioned at some time or other doing good things.
It's alsovery good to see that Charlie Gardiner has made a big impact in his first game for us. That will give him some confidence. (Though, just from what Ive heard over the radio, he seemed to be much quieter that quarter than in the first half).
The other thing is that our rucks have been VERY competitive and that's a great thing. The commentators have been saying that King has been especially impressive. But things like rucking - outside of stats, I'd still like to hear from someone who could see the game on TV, or from the game.
So, our good players are still good players ... Harvey impressive. So too S. Fisher. And Dal. And Montagna, by the sounds of it.
But the real things you're looking for in a NAB game - the contributions of the young ones and the newcomers - all look good from what I've heard.
We haven't shut the door on them - they still got inside 50 a lot then - but that's what you have with the newcomers. Seems good, overall, to me.

Fourth Quarter has started.
Dal does a very good tackle, kicks short to C. Gardiner. Short kick to M. Gardiner. Long, to Kosi. Can't mark. Tigers try to run it out... but he is caught by Jones. Mowed down. 75 out. Awkward looking kick, on left. Birss does a good tackle, with the pressure causing the turnovers.
Another good sign - this pressure in the forwrad line. Birss goals from 35 out. 29 point lead to us now.

C. Gardiner kicks behind.
14.10 97 to 9.10 70 (includes supergoals in score).
Hardball get by C. gardiner, Geary to Fraser G. He's kicked 2 so far. Unloads. Goal. Saints lead by 33 points.
G Train is coming off.
Our foward line has used the corridor effectively, Richmond has gone wide. We are also getting numbers behind the ball in the turnover.
