Re: West Indies in Australia.. Train wreck?
The ‘doctoring’ had zero impact on the game, both sides of the wicket looked and played the same.
Most likely the Indians purposely released the ‘doctored’ images a few days before the Test to get the Aussies in a ‘spin’, which they fell for hook line and sinker, making bizarre choices like dropping one of the in-form players in Test cricket.
I think Steve Waugh called it ‘mental warfare’

That's just utter bulls***, and so far from the truth to be laughable. Stop making excuses for cheats, it's sick making.The_Dud wrote: ↑Tue 14 Feb 2023 5:03pm The ‘doctoring’ had zero impact on the game, both sides of the wicket looked and played the same.

Matt Short & Marcus Harris, get the train on track. Renshaw dropped of course. Warner should play the "I'm exhausted" card to get Harris a gig and avoid further humiliation. Head didn't take being dropped well so McD will want to teach the imputant pup who's boss.

So Head got pissed off? Surely stirred on by the old guard and mates ..seems to be a human trait. And then pride kicks in too, so the powers to be can’t acquiesce to pressure. Lose-lose situation.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Cheating is cheating the result of the game doesn't change that.The_Dud wrote: ↑Tue 14 Feb 2023 5:03pm The ‘doctoring’ had zero impact on the game, both sides of the wicket looked and played the same.

No no no please not Harris! 14 tests for an average of 25, that’s enough data to know he’s not up to it!Yorkeys wrote: ↑Tue 14 Feb 2023 9:40pm Matt Short & Marcus Harris, get the train on track. Re: West Indies in Australia.. Train wreck?
i watched portions of the cricket podcast and I do feel that Indian authorities did go out of their way to be ridiculously zealous in their attempts to manipulate the result.CURLY wrote: ↑Wed 15 Feb 2023 6:30amCheating is cheating the result of the game doesn't change that.The_Dud wrote: ↑Tue 14 Feb 2023 5:03pm The ‘doctoring’ had zero impact on the game, both sides of the wicket looked and played the same.

They even watered the practice nets so that Aussies couldn't prepare.
The Aussies were beaten fair and square anyway, but rolling just portions of the pitch does seem ridiculous.
See around the 10 min mark

Re: West Indies in Australia.. Train wreck?
Just another day on the sub continent and just another f****** doctored pitch.
Some nations are just bigger cheats than others
And one could hear that inside edge back in Australia FFS.
Cheating maggots as well as ground staff on the take.
