Eagles are a good side and after watching the Tiges Port game..we are so far off the mark.

Saddens me to say but my Cue is back in the rack.

As a commentator said the Eagles have been playing together for a long time..they know each others moves. ATM we are chooks with the heads cut off.

My liver thanks you Saints.

How is this not getting more attention considering the horrendous one that was paid to Darling in the First Quarter

Take those umpire mistake gift goals off WC and we are a kick off the lead.

Darling gift
Ryan just blatant mistake
Cripps just a umpire wanting to be in the game

15-7 Eagles way as the norm

We wont get the rub of the green until we become a better side .. atm we'll get nada whilst giving away sloppy frees

Imagine trying to argue with a straight face that the Liam Ryan bodywork was a free but the Wilkie blatant jumper pull wasn’t

Yep seasons done
Let’s face facts we got gifted a dream draw and 2020 AFL circus games flattered us
We are so far off the pace it’s not funny
Just ordinary ball users - we’ve carried way to many for years even in 09/10 we were lumbered with shyte users from Eddy, C Jones , Mqualter (could only kick 15m).....throw in Ross and Z Jones Geary..... u get the idea under pressure they crumble we always have.

This could go two ways, we recapture a bit if the first quarter form and get back in to it, or completely fall away and get done by 80 points...

When in a marking contest a player cannot shove a player in the back. He can can use his hands to hold but it can’t be two actions. Ryan shoved Webster in the back then marked the ball.

Cripps free was a free but again not awarded 100’s of times around contests.

We can still win this - we just need a little bit of mo - and a lot of umpire cheating.

Effort is pretty good execution f--cking horrible. The one thing we could not afford to do was bomb long to the contest so what did we do , just so fu--ing frustrating . Ok their skills are way better but Coffield & Clark our future guns have been hopeless IMO. Marshall shouldn't have played another couple of weeks would have done us any harm lets hope he's not done for the year. Lets at least fight it out & give them a run for their money in the second half

Ratts said at half time he'd be back so I don't think so.

Lonie just please get off. Terrible has cost us at least 4 goals.

Hill great
Webster great
Steele great
Bytal great
Carlisle great
How Lonie continues to play AFL football is beyond me.

On a positive note, I think Crouch has been pretty good as well.

It's obvious we are playing 2 too many small forwards.

Our small forwards don't have the breakaway speed to separate from their direct opponents, and there are no crumbing opportunities due to our crumby forward entries.

So we are being easily outmarked and outbodied when the ball enters our F50.

I'm trying to think of 2 mid-sized to tallish players who can replace two of our small, slow forwards?
Maybe Wood and one other player?

Higgins soft

Get the ball, stop playing for frees

He’s been ruining the match thread for years. 95% of his posts are about umpiring. Total one track mind. No idea why he’s not warned and banned for spamming.
