The team was f****** awesome. Maggots were f****** awful. tiggy touch frees plus crap 50 meters.. even a couple given to us resulting in goals.

Worth watching though. Competition for spots will be red hot.

I swear Curly gets as much pleasure and types as many words about disliking the umpires as Dud does about disliking Curly for disliking the umpires.

Symbiotic relationship. They should be best friends.

Didn't see all the game, but I will say this. Opposition clubs, underestimate Josh Battle at your peril

I am by no means by myself on this one.

I missed it as well and had the same question.

I messaged the club asking if it will be available to watch on replay and will let you know what they say. Soundly like it was worth watching.

Bytel has to play. His inside work was very impressive but his work up forward was not something expected. Very good overhead.

Yep. Most enjoyable watch. Sinclair was brilliant as was Billings and Bytel

How bad are North Melbourne going to be.

They were missing three of their best, Cunnington, Goldstein and Anderson but two of those will be north of 30 this year.

Zeiball will be 31 and Tarrant 31

They are in for a world of hurt

Certainly he was impressive today. Who does he tip out from last season, given that we also need to find a spot for Crouch?

Anyway, nice problem to have. Stiff competition for spots is always a good sign.

Yep, nice to get the “four points” but you’d expect Norf to finish close to bottom

well for a start I think he will be the better option in the middle over gresham
he is a true on baller

I thought Gresham played some very good football as a midfielder last season and I expect that to continue.

Our season almost came unstuck when he fell over and I’d present that as evidence that he can, in fact, play midfield.

Way too good a talent to be pigeonholed as a small forward.

He’s not a hard in-and-under, sure. He’s much more creative than that.

yeah he is - my main concern with gresham is his size - onballers now are getting pretty big and Bytel even @ 190 is about the right size and he will get heavier
on the flip size with gresham playing as a small forward he tries to do the impossible a bit too often - maybe with maturity that will improve

"exquisite ball use" never thought I would here that in context with the Saints.

But yes....happily that's where we are atm

Hill's disposal is beautiful to watch.
